Jia Jingde (1880-1960), the last jinshi, Yan Xishan's pen pole and zhijiao, Yan Xishan's funeral. Briefly acted as the president of the Examination Institute.

Jia Jingde's calligraphy, "good at writing Yan body is the most evocative", the body of the book is neat and disciplined, the pen is powerful, and the law is rigorous. Together with Yu Youren, Liang Hancao, and Ji Zigao, he was once collectively known as the "Four Famous Masters of Chinese Calligraphy in the Republic of China".

Jia Jingde was nourished by Shanxi feng shui, and he was full of poetry and books, and his pen was divine, his hands were brilliant, and he was an official in the early days, and he was quite capable of dealing with the world. All this was needed by Yan Xishan, who had just ascended to the throne of the capital. Therefore, around 1911, Jia Jingde was entrusted with a heavy responsibility and became a minister of Yan Xishan. The two have known and worked together for nearly 50 years. In 1960, Jia Jingde personally bid farewell to Yan Xishan and took great pains to bury Yan Xishan's body. A few months later, Jia died of an illness at the age of 80.

In addition to politics, Jia Jingde liked to communicate with the literati, and Wen learned from Shen Meng that at that time, some famous literati in Shanxi, such as Guo Xiangsheng, Li Lianggong, Chang Zixiang, etc., sang poetry and wine and had close ties. In 1941, when he was in Chongqing, Jia Jingde collected his poems into a book called "Taoyuan Poetry Collection", and later published "Taoyuan Anthology"
