Three years ago, Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano sued Hollywood tycoon Harvey Weinstein.
According to the investigation, Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted and harassed the actress for more than 30 years, and more than 48 victims came forward alone.
These include A-list actresses such as Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet and Uma Thurman.

Along with the "Harvey Weinstein Incident", there was another sports demon: Larry Nassar.
As the leading team doctor in the Field of Gymnastics in the United States, he has provided medical services for universities and national gymnastics teams for decades, most of whom are girls under the age of 18.
In a subsequent investigation, the police roughly estimated that the number of sexual assaults in Larry was as high as 265, and he was a "demon" without compromise.
This documentary truly reveals to us the real process of the demon coming to the human world.
At the Heart of the Gold Medal: The USA Gymnastics Scandal
01、
The Usa gymnastics team has always been the pride of the United States.
In 2012, at the London Olympics, she won the women's gymnastics team championship.
In 2016, the Rio Olympic Games, once again underpinned the crowd, won the gold medal of the women's team.
And the glory behind this comes from the famous gold medal forger in American history.
Mr. and Mrs. Caroi.
Their training method is simple and crude:
Pick a talented underage girl and train in a devilish style.
Repeated forced leg pressing has long exceeded the limits of the body.
Once selected for the gymnastics team, the girls must go to a farm in Texas for closed training every month.
During this period, it is not allowed to use the telephone, and it is not allowed to contact parents and personal trainers without authorization.
Moreover, these gymnastics coaches are all PUA masters and are extremely good at suppressing these girls.
"Can't you do it?" Don't you do it badly? Don't you want to practice? Come on, there are thousands of children in America waiting to replace you, you useless things. ”
Think about it, a group of little girls, doing difficult movements every day, all of them are bruises, and they can't shout tiredness, can't cry bitterness, can't talk about it, because once their weaknesses are exposed, then they will be replaced.
They are so accustomed to hiding their hurts under their smiles that the public only remembers their confident expressions on the field.
The Karois' training style is known as "gymnastics Darwinism".
The weak eat the strong, the survival of the fittest.
Under this high-intensity inhuman torture, the appearance of a person makes this group of girls have a place to vent -
Larry Nassar.
Larry, the team doctor, is an angelic presence in the hearts of the girls, and is "the only person in the team who will be gentle with them".
People's impressions and evaluations of Larry are mostly similar:
Good old man, stupid looking, very kind, good friend of mine...
And it is precisely because of looking at "loyal and honest" that Larry's crime is almost "unique".
Under the harsh training, Larry treated the girls' injuries, secretly lent them mobile phones, and stuffed them with candy.
They trusted Larry so much that when he touched the forbidden area of their bodies with his fingers and called it a treatment, they had doubts, but eventually hid it in their hearts.
How do a group of little girls who are used to adults touching their bodies to help them adjust their posture when confronted by a doctor known for their authority?
Can only be believed.
02、
What surprised me the most in the whole documentary was that their parents were present when the girls were assaulted.
Before officially joining the national team, the Karois told the parents:
Your children will be hurt, it is only a matter of time and time.
Parents worry about their children, but they can't.
So when they learned of Larry's presence, they suddenly felt relieved:
Fortunately, there is someone who can take care of my children, protect them, and treat them.
Coupled with the particularity of gymnastics, both children and parents have long been accustomed to coaches putting their hands on children's bodies.
Besides, this is still the doctor's hand.
Even if the girls perceive a problem, they find that their parents are not saying anything, so they are ashamed to say it.
If there is a real problem, will the parents turn a blind eye?
I must have thought too much about it myself.
In the eyes of their parents, all this was normal, there was nothing wrong with it, and they didn't find Larry's treatment inappropriate from the beginning to the end.
"Don't worry, it's part of the relaxation treatment."
Even when the child plucks up the courage to bring it up, they will reprimand the child.
The parents' behavior reassured the girls.
They believed in Larry even more unconditionally, so much so that when the sexual assault was revealed, they subconsciously defended him:
"I'm angry. How could anyone dare to accuse such a kind person? ”
From here, we can see that many parents are insensitive to protecting their children.
According to relevant statistics, acquaintances encroach on more than 60% of all sexual assault cases.
The occurrence of these cases is inseparable from the negligence of parents.
03、
When there are more and more victims, there will always be girls who realize that something is wrong.
So they turned to help.
As early as 1997, le Rui, a 16-year-old gymnast at the time, reported Larry's improper behavior to the head coach of the national team, Casey.
However, Kathy, as Nassar's colleague and friend, replied:
"If you report Nassar, you won't have good fruit to eat."
"You're definitely mistaken."
Yes, you are definitely mistaken.
In this way, Le Rui gave in.
After Le Rui, dozens more people reported sexual assault to Michigan State University, where Larry worked.
Under pressure, the university organized an investigation team.
The investigation team needed four experts to assess whether Larry's actions constituted sexual assault.
Paradoxically, the four experts could be chosen by Larry himself, so three of them were his colleagues and friends.
Naturally, the results are predictable.
The final investigative report is out:
"The medical treatment [of Nassar's] was inappropriate."
But the report deliberately ignores the fact that the girls complained that Nassar had an erection during the treatment.
What's even more interesting is that after the 22-page survey results made public, there is actually a page 23.
This last page, only Larry himself can see.
It lists all the potential risks associated with Larry's treatment and notes that his treatment process "needs to be improved."
But in fact, nothing has changed.
In 2015, within the U.S. national gymnastics team, another athlete reported Nassar sexual assault.
The head coach of the national team at the time had to suppress the matter for five weeks before reporting it.
During this time, Larry continued to commit sexual assault.
After a lengthy investigation, officials asked Larry to resign on his own, citing "athletes' concerns."
It's not sexual assault, it's worry.
It's not dismissal, it's resignation.
So, after leaving the national team, Larry is still beautiful, still serving in the university and local gymnastics teams.
In the whole sexual assault case, the murderer is not just Larry alone, but the whole system.
The whole system breeds and tolerates Larry's sexual assault, so much so that colleagues, coaches, and even the parents of the children have become Larry's accomplices.
No one stepped forward to help them, so they helped themselves.
Breaking the myth of the "system" that has become entrenched in the American gymnastics world is a brave girl:
Rachel Danhelan.
She was one of the victims of Larry's sexual assault case, a former gymnast, colleague, and a lawyer.
The purpose of giving up gymnastics and studying law is to send Larry to prison with her own hands.
In 2016, she exposed Larry's demonic behavior under her real name in the Indianapolis Star.
Finally, at this very moment, decades after Larry had committed sexual assault, the investigation had really begun.
The FBI found a large number of pornographic images on his computer, and he was arrested and jailed.
In 2017, the Larry case was officially heard, and only 6 girls were willing to testify in court at the beginning.
But later, the number slowly rose: 6, 88, and a week later, 156 girls bravely stepped forward.
In court, the judge announced a unique trial plan:
Each victim can voluntarily go to court to explain the damage Larry has done to their bodies, minds, and lives.
And Larry had to listen.
At this time, we realize what kind of scars Larry's seemingly innocuous behavior has left on the lives of these children.
Some people give up their beloved gymnastics.
Some people suffer from anxiety and depression when they are minors, need to take medication every day to control, and no longer trust their doctors.
Some people have a big fight with their father, the father does not believe that Larry sexually assaulted and beat his daughter, after the truth of the case came out, he ended his life with a pistol...
Larry stood there listening, not defending, and confessing his guilt.
Do you think he repented?
Not really.
He just didn't want to hear these girls "talking".
He wrote to the judge in the courtroom: "[The girl] is going to create a news war in these four days of trial, and I have to sit next to her for four days before the camera is aimed at her."
They read the report and thought I was doing something wrong. Women's anger is better than the fire of purgatory. “
Until the last moment, he was still slandering and denigrating women.
And he eventually "got what he wanted": 175 years in prison, of which 40 years were not released on parole.
The relevant personnel involved, the gymnastics coach suspected of bending the law for personal gain have all been dismissed and investigated, the president of Michigan State University has resigned, and all the directors of the American Gymnastics Association have resigned.
Justice finally came, but too late.
The girl who lost her father because of Larry, the girls who suffered all their lives because of Larry, their lives have long been irreparable.
When we look back at Larry's case, we find that there are too many opportunities in the process to stop him, but in the end they are all lost.
The problem is that we don't treat our children too seriously.
Coaches do not treat children as human beings, suppress and abuse children.
Parents don't treat their children as human beings, don't trust them, and don't care enough about them.
The system doesn't treat children as human beings, so it favors Larry's side indefinitely.
East is gone, mulberry is not late.
All we can do is treat our children equally.
Believe what they say, protect their fragile childhood, and don't give the bad guys a chance to take advantage of it.
