Recently, the Xixiang Street Grid Officer in Bao'an District organized the building chief to encounter a "flying passenger from the sky" during the inspection and visit of the jurisdiction, and a big blue bird suddenly landed next to him. Subsequently, the grid members contacted the Shenzhen Forest Public Security Police, and finally learned that this big blue bird turned out to be a macaw, which is a national second-level protected animal. At present, this macaw has been handed over to the forest police for further assistance.

On the afternoon of August 16, when The grid member Xiao Gong and the building chief were inspecting a rental house in the central area of Fengtian in the Fenghuanggang community, a large blue bird suddenly fell from the sky and stopped around the two people. After careful observation, the grid member Xiao Gong and the building chief found that it was a parrot, but this parrot was larger, with a body length of nearly 70 centimeters, the body abdomen was golden yellow, and the back was blue-blue, like a sapphire, very beautiful. Because the parrot was so uncommon, the grid officers and building chiefs suspected that it belonged to the national protected animal, so they immediately informed the community workstation and the police district for help.
Subsequently, the grid member contacted the forest public security bureau police through the Phoenix Gang police district, and after listening to the description of the grid member, the forest public security police preliminarily judged that this big bird was a macaw and belonged to the national second-level protected animal. At present, the parrot has been handed over to the Shenzhen Municipal Forest Public Security Bureau for further assistance.
It is understood that the macaw is a parrot family, belongs to the large climbing bird, native to the tropical region of the Americas, a total of 6 genera and 17 species, all listed in the "IUCN Red List of Endangered Species", due to habitat destruction and serious poaching, the macaw this beautiful creature is facing an existential crisis.
