This is thanks to Wen Jin, who returned to his hometown to start a business, and it was he who made the village vibrant.

Partnering to go home to "farm"

Not far away, a sturdy, dark-skinned young man came forward to greet him, and he was Wen Jin, the general manager of Jingtianwan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.

"Welcome to come, is the scenery in this mountain good?" Wen Jinle said with a smile.

Wen Jin is a "post-80s" who worked in Zhejiang from 2002 to 2012. At that time, many young people like him went out to work as businessmen, and the contracted land in their hometown was left unattended.

"At that time, there were no roads and no homes here, and many of the land was deserted, which was heart-wrenching!" said Wen Jin, who had a deep affection for the land since he was a child, and could not see that the land was abandoned. What's more, his hometown is under the Nanyue Mountain, where the Five Mountains are unique. "Hometown is so beautiful, why can't we let the villagers rely on the mountains to eat the mountains and live better?" In 2012, Wenjin moved the idea of returning to his hometown. He found his fellow countrymen Tan Ming and Chen Chunming, and decided to go home together to "farm".

In 2013, under the guidance and support of the local government, the three people invested a total of 4 million yuan, transferred 1250 mu of land, and established Jingtianwan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., which adopted the mode of "base + cooperative + farmer" to operate, and focused on creating an ecological agriculture that integrates breeding, sightseeing and leisure.

"Every tree here is planted by us, and every tile is built by us." Wen Jin led the reporter around his ecological farm. He said that returning to the countryside and concentrating on farming, although it has paid a lot, is worth it.

Add "wild fun" to the table

In Jingtian Village, many mountains are planted with wild vegetables, green and lush. Several villagers who are working told reporters that wild vegetables are not only eaten in the spring, they have them here all year round, different varieties of different ways to eat, very interesting!

The wild vegetables here contain a large number of minerals and trace elements needed by the human body, and some wild vegetables are also Chinese herbal medicines, which are good for health. Moreover, Nanyue is a famous "vegetarian town", and the locals have had the custom of picking wild vegetables to eat since ancient times.

"Nanyue wild vegetables are rich in resources and have a market, but there has been no enterprise growing wild vegetables, so I will plant them." Wen Jin introduced that in the "first battle" of returning to the hometown to start a business, they chose the most inconspicuous wild vegetables.

Without experience, Wen Jin and others groped all the way. "In the early days of entrepreneurship, I didn't understand technology, and some wild vegetables were planted, and then they sprouted and withered, and the family's living expenses were lost." Due to the disproportionate input and output, the company's capital turnover is difficult and it is difficult to operate.

Knowing that Wenjin and others encountered difficulties, the local government helped them contact professionals from agriculture, science and technology departments to guide them, and organized the company's employee training, and the company slowly came out of the "cold winter".

"Do what you want to do, do the best, make the special." In recent years, Wenjin has adhered to artificial ecological breeding and solved technical problems such as artificial seedlings, biological control of pests and diseases, bio-organic fertilizer production, and diversified cultivation. Last year, its company's "Development and Utilization of Wild Vegetables" project won the winner of the Hunan Division of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Hundreds of acres of wasteland into vegetable land, the company produces nearly 200,000 kilograms of wild vegetables every year, adding "wild fun" to the tables of tourists and urban residents.

Make ecology into a brand

"Ecology is the biggest resource in my hometown, and it is also the best signboard." Wenjin said that relying on the company, they have gradually tapped the "ecology" out of more benefits.

"In 2014, I tried to raise more than 10,000 chickens in the wild vegetable field, they can eat grass and insects in the field, and the manure is a good fertilizer." Wen jin said that the wild vegetables grown in this way are more popular.

More than 10,000 chickens were snapped up, and ecological breeding was a hit. "The watermelons we grow are redder and sweeter, the pumpkins are more fragrant, and the chickens we raise are delicate..." Wenjin said, and he also mobilized villagers to go up the mountain to plant oil tea trees. Camellia oleifera is easy to take care of and has a productive period of up to several years, which has both ecological and economic benefits. The village planted more than 600 acres of camellia oleifera trees, which began to bear fruit last year, producing more than 1,500 kilograms of tea oil, and it is expected to produce nearly 3,000 kilograms this year.

Wen jin said that by the end of this year, they plan to build an oil mill.

With the continuous extension of the company's ecological industry chain, more than 180 villagers in the pine tree group where the company is located participated in it, achieving employment and income.

"In the next five years, we plan to build a marketing center for investment promotion, a catering reception center and an outdoor development base, a planting base for agricultural products, and a livestock and poultry breeding base." Wenjin said that the company will continue to fully participate and benefit villagers, and build Jingtian Village into a beautiful village integrating circular agriculture, creative agriculture and agricultural experience.
