Tan Xiaozeng, male, born in 1949, is a famous peking opera veteran actor. He is a national first-class actor at the Beijing Opera House and a member of the 10th, 11th and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The Liyuan family, the sixth generation of Tan Men, is the grandson of Tan Fuying, the famous peking opera actor, and the son of Tan Yuanshou. Winner of the 23rd Asia's Most Outstanding Artist Award and the Sino-American Literary and Artistic Contribution Award. Judge of the previous CCTV National Youth Competition. In recent years, he has visited Asia, Europe, the Americas and other countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Tan Xiaozeng's wife Yan Guixiang is a famous Peking Opera Qingyi and Danjiao actor.
He graduated from the Beijing Opera School in 1968 and studied Laosheng opera from Wang Shaolou and Yang Jufen, and wusheng opera from Zhu Lianshun and Xu Yuanshan. After graduation, he received the personal inheritance of his grandfather Tan Fuying and his father Tan Yuanshou. Tan Xiaozeng, Zhao Baoxiu, Wang Rongrong, Du Zhenjie, Li Hongtu, Chi Xiaoqiu, Zhu Qiang, Dong Yuanyuan and Chen Junjie are composed of the "nine top cards".
