In the summer of 1972, Xiuqing and I were invited by Ms. Ma from Hong Kong to create a series of oil paintings reflecting the western style for her. Time is tight and the task is heavy, and we have overcome many difficulties in the absence of life experience in the western region and the extreme shortage of creative materials, so we collect materials while collecting materials and conceiving and creating, and we have composed countless sketches, nailing canvases while drawing the original draft. Often busy until midnight to early morning, very hard, fortunately we were all in our thirties with energy and physical strength.
We worked together for half a year to create and paint 8 works, three of which are displayed here to colleagues and friends, hoping to share and teach.
