Recently, the theme activity of the United Front of Jing'an District celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held in the 800 Show Theater.
Ding Baoding, chairman of the Jing'an District CPPCC Committee, Li Xia, second-level inspector of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee and secretary of the party leading group of the Municipal European and American Returned Scholars Association, Ling Huikang, member of the Standing Committee of the Jing'an District CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department, and Chen Jingwei, vice chairman of the Jing'an District CPPCC Committee, attended the event.
More than 200 people attended the ceremony, including responsible persons of relevant departments and offices of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal CPC Committee, members of various democratic parties in Jing'an, the Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Federation of Overseas Chinese, the Federation of Knowledge, and the New Federation, cadres of the United Front Work Department of the district party committee and the organs of the district social institute, and leaders in charge of united front work in various neighborhoods and towns and united front cadres.
Ling Huikang delivered a speech on the theme event. He pointed out that history shows the future, and vicissitudes have achieved the right path. Over the past one hundred years, the Communist Party of China has made a great leap from standing up and getting rich to becoming strong. Over the past one hundred years, the united front has always walked with the party with one heart, resonated with the overall situation of development, and worked together for the well-being of the people and development for the motherland. A hundred years is only a prologue, and the future will be expected. Standing at the historical intersection of the "two hundred years" goal, we need to bear in mind the entrustment, forge ahead, and promote Jing'an to create a new situation, achieve new deeds, and write a new chapter in the new historical coordinates and orientation.
Subsequently, Ling Huikang presented the flag to the Jing'an District United Front Starlight Art Troupe and announced the official establishment of the Jing'an District United Front Starlight Art Troupe.
The theme activity was presided over by Ji Jun, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the district party committee, and Xu Shengnan, a national first-class actor and actor of Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, served as a cross-speaker.
The theme activities took the members of the democratic parties, the Zhilian Association, and the New Federation in Jing'an District as the main body, and used the method of on-site dubbing and scene interpretation to select fragments of China's outstanding red-themed film and television works since the founding of the party a hundred years ago, showing the process of building the party's foundation from the wind and rain to the prosperity of striving to govern and create the country, strengthening the leadership of the Communist Party of China, not forgetting the original intention of cooperation, and continuing to move forward hand in hand.
