The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Supreme People's Procuratorate posthumously awarded Wang Min the title of "National Model Procurator"

Hefei, 22 Oct (Reporter Zhang Xuan) On 22 October, at the meeting held in Hefei, Anhui Province, to posthumously award Comrade Wang Min the title of "National Model Procurator," the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Supreme People's Procuratorate posthumously awarded Wang Min the title of "National Model Procurator," the Anhui Provincial CPC Committee posthumously awarded Wang Min the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Anhui Province," and the Anhui Provincial CPC Committee and the Anhui Provincial People's Government posthumously awarded Wang Min the title of "Civil Servant Satisfied with the People" in Anhui Province.

Wang Min was a former member of the Party Group and Deputy Procurator General of the People's Procuratorate of Shucheng County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province. On June 19, 2021, he suddenly fell ill while working overtime on weekends, and died in the line of duty after rescue was ineffective, at the age of 53. Wang Min's work is known for seeking the ultimate, grasping both "big cases" and handling "small cases", handling nearly 2,000 cases, without a single wrong case or a single petition. In the minds of colleagues, Wang Min is a legal "living dictionary" that can be consulted at any time, and has done his best to help young cadres and policemen grow into talents, help bring out a number of business backbones and advanced models, and the departments where he has worked have been rated as advanced collectives by provincial and municipal procuratorial organs for many times.

After Wang Min's death, his family donated corneas according to his last wishes, so that the two patients could see the light again.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Supreme People's Procuratorate called on Comrade Wang Min's advanced deeds and lofty spirit to be regarded as vivid teaching materials for in-depth promotion of party history study and education and rectification of the procuratorial contingent, inherit heroic character, carry forward the spirit of heroic models, comprehensively enhance the quality and effectiveness of legal supervision of procuratorial organs in the new era, and ensure high-quality economic and social development with high-quality procuratorial performance services.
