Call Me By Your Name is an adaptation of Andrei Esimon's novel of the same name, directed by Luca Guadagnino and starring Timothy Chalame, Amy Hammer and Michael Stubb, and was released at the Sundance Film Festival in the United States on January 22, 2017.
Once released, the film won the Best Picture at the 27th Gotham Independent Film Awards; on November 29, 2017, it was selected as one of the Top Ten Films of 2017 by Empire Magazine; and in December of the same year, it was awarded the 2017 Top Ten Films by the American Film Institute.
On February 12, 2018, the film won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay in the Motion Picture Category, and on March 5 of the same year, it won the Best Adapted Screenplay Award at the 90th Academy Awards, and was hailed as "a classic comparable to "Brokeback Mountain".
The film tells the story of 24-year-old American doctoral student Oliver who met 17-year-old Elio in Italy, and the two developed an ambiguous relationship, and told us through the story:

In the film, Elio hears from Oliver again on Hanukkah day when he receives a phone call from Oliver telling him that he is engaged and will be married next spring.
