I used to be a dream-chasing teenager who came to Beijing alone and worked as a professional musician for 10 years. Many elements in China's popular music are imported products, and the integration of Chinese elements into popular music is the direction of many musicians' lifelong efforts. And Yin Que Shi Ting is such a music team that uses popular music to express the connotation of Chinese culture.

In the previous variety shows, it was rare to hear chinese style music, but in recent years, it has often been heard, because there is a group of people behind it who are working hard. I think that chinese style music must be blessed with national instruments. When composing "Mangzhong", I added a large guzheng solo after the vocal performance, so that traditional folk music became the protagonist. On the basis of retaining the Chinese rhyme, I also pursue the popularization and storytelling of the lyrics, integrating fictional stories into the twenty-four solar terms to remind everyone of the arrival of specific festivals. In addition to "Mangsang", "After the New Rain on the Empty Mountain" derived from the ancient poem, adapted from the legend of Wang Zhaojun's "Red Zhao wish", these are all modern presentations of classical elements.

Now, "Mangzhong" has become a hit song, and the number of plays on overseas platforms has exceeded 100 million, but we have been particularly bumpy along the way. We started from the Internet and gathered a group of post-90s netizens who have the same concept of tradition and popular music. In the eyes of traditional record companies, music platforms and media, we have always been a "niche" network organization. In fact, when the orchestra was founded, I thought that even if our music is never widely recognized, we must go our own way and do a bigger, deeper and more refined way on the road of "niche". From that perspective, I don't particularly mind the web labels on us.

I liken myself to a "moon catcher" because the goal I want to achieve is a bit far from reality, but I will stick with it. Yin Que Poetry Listening Will continue to use music to awaken the classical memories hidden in everyone's hearts, continue the practice of creating popular music from traditional cultural IP, and grow up with Chinese style music.
