<b>"</b>Angels" aren't all as innocent as we think, and angels in X-Men: Apocalypse are an example. In the newly exposed concept art, the metallic wings make the angel look cool and a little more evil. Director Brian Singer revealed to the media that Warren Washington III (the Angel) is certain to be played by Ben Hardy, but he will not be a "good angel".
In the comics, Warren's wings are broken, and the villain Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) is willing to help him regain his ability to fly, but only if he becomes his own follower.
