Singer Dolly Parton is now fully vaccinated. The country music legend, who received a second and final dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Friday, like her first, shared photos of the injection process on Twitter, including a photo of her posing with the medical staff who helped her.
She wrote on the picture: "Dolly got her (second) dose" and then wrote: "Thanks to Dr. Najib Abumlad, Andrea Calhoun and Heather Odale (Vanderbilt University Medical Center)." "
When Parton received her first injection in March, she tuned one of her most famous hits for the occasion. The singer shared a video of her needle and also sang a new version of her 1973 song "Jolene."

Parton donated $1 million in funding to enable research on the vaccine last April. Her longtime friend, Dr. Najib Abramrad of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, personally vaccinated Parton.
"It doesn't hurt!". After his first injection on March 3, Parton said, "I did it, I did it!" The 75-year-old singer said she chose to take the lead in getting vaccinated because "I'm old enough and smart enough" and encouraged audiences to follow her example.
