Ma Zenghui was born in Tianjin in 1936, and his father Ma Liandeng and his sister Ma Zengfen were both Xihe drum performance artists. Ma Liandeng and his second daughter Ma Zengfen co-founded the "Ma Pai" Xihe Dagu. When the Ma family was famous in Beijing and Tianjin, it made a contribution to the folk drum music art to ascend to the Hall of Elegance, and was rumored to be a good story by the music world. Ma Zenghui is the third daughter of Mr. Ma Liandeng, who was 5 years old and sang the Xihe drum, and later changed to singing single strings.
