Dream: The heart of becoming a magician is finally polished
Yaozhuangzi Village is located on the west side of Zhongwang Town in Jinghai District, bordering Hebei Province. Going to work, farming, taking care of the elderly and children, and living in the village in a down-to-earth manner are normal life in the eyes of the villagers.
Time back to more than a decade ago, Shi Qiang, like other people in the village, worked every day at sunrise and rested at sunset, living an ordinary life. One day, he saw a TV magic show: a well-known foreign magician staged a wonderful magic show with a complete restoration of a hand-torn newspaper, which won the applause of the audience. At this moment, Shi Qiang's heart was shocked, and the "magician's dream" of his childhood was ignited again, and he was determined to write a chapter of his own dream.
"After that, my schedule changed slightly: I went to work during the day and taught myself magic at home at night. When he was off work, he went to Beijing and asked the magician for advice. Recalling the beginning of the dream, the corners of Shi Qiang's mouth rose slightly, revealing some relief and excitement, "At that time, I seemed to have become a 'different' in the eyes of the people in the village, but I never cared, or I insisted as always." Persistence: Striving to create the "impossible" in the eyes of others
In 2007, Shi Qiang dialed the hotline of Tianjin Television's "Very Host" program with the mentality of trying it out, and confessed to the program team that his dream was to learn magic performances from the famous magician Yandong.
Kung Fu pays off. In the end, Shi Qiang contacted Fu Yandong with the help of the program team and the host Liu Bing and others. And Fu Yandong also said that he could let Shi Qiang go to him to learn.
At the age of 27, Shi Qiang came to Beijing alone and became a student of Fu Yandong, and his magician career officially began. "Just do it is my character. At that time, I didn't think about anything, just a mind to learn the skill. ”
Although Shi Qiang taught himself some basic knowledge when he was at home, at the beginning of his visit, the difficulty of learning still caught him off guard. "Magic props need to be made by each magician according to the actual situation, and at the same time, the magic show needs to be completed with music, which I have never touched before, and it is impossible for me to become a magician in the eyes of others." Shi Qiang said frankly.
Is it to continue to stay in Beijing and insist? Or did you just go home with nothing? "After careful consideration, I decided to persevere no matter how bitter it was, because the dream was still there. So in order to learn props and music production, I often repeat dozens or even hundreds of times that others can master the operation once or twice. Shi Qiang said.
No matter how high the mountain is, if you climb up, you can always reach the top; no matter how long the road is, if you go down, you will be able to reach it. With the hard work of "holding on to the green mountains and not relaxing" and the enterprising spirit of "people are diligent in spring earlier", Shi Qiang's magic skills have gradually been accepted by everyone, and now, he has become famous in the magic circle and won many awards at home and abroad.
Love in your heart: Keen to participate in public welfare activities
The accomplished Shi Qiang participated in a public welfare activity by chance, and since then his life journey has opened another bright door. "I was very touched when I saw the kids being very interested in my magic show. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces, I saw where my value lay. From that moment on, I decided to set up a platform for kids who love magic to make more kids fall in love with magic. Shi Qiang said.
Over the past few years, Shi Qiang has supported more than 70 schools, benefiting more than 17,000 students in Hunan Xiangxi, Ningxia Yinchuan, Guizhou Bijie, Zhangjiakou Wei County, Hebei Laishui, Yunnan Lijiang and other regions.
According to years of volunteer teaching experience and serious thinking, Shi Qiang adapted magic into a course suitable for teenagers to learn - mental health puzzle science magic class, and widely applied to the teaching of his volunteer teaching class, and achieved good results.
