A sister-in-law picked up an egg-sized yellow apricot and handed it to passers-by.
Zhanggou Village is located in the southwest of Downtown Town and the west side of the north slope of Xiangshan Temple, with an area of 1813 mu of arable land and 2500 mu of mountainous land. Under the guidance of the government, the village based on local advantages, read the "fruit" word classic, widely planted "cash cow trees", through "returning farmland to forest, free distribution of saplings, the introduction of incentive policies" and other measures, the introduction of good quality fruit varieties, mobilized the masses to plant 655 acres of golden sun apricot trees.
According to reports, the variety introduced by the village is golden sun apricot, larger, thin skin and more meat, sweet taste, three years of fruit, five to six years into the full fruit period, the yield per mu can reach 3,000 jin, mu income of more than 10,000 yuan. At the same time, with the help of the town's golden apricot picking festival, the yellow apricots in Zhanggou are also shouting in the square circle.
In addition to flowering and fruit picking, almond tree cultivation creates unique conditions for bee farming. Today, 30 of the 262 households in the village farm bees, each with 10 to 30 boxes of bees, and honey and pollen have become another specialty agricultural product in the village.
Every Year in March, it becomes a "drunken" apricot blossom village, and the apricot blossoms that spread over the mountains are like a fairyland, triggering a boom in flower viewing; in May, it transforms into a golden apricot kingdom, with yellow and red apricots hanging from the branches, and tourists rush to pick them. Now, Zhanggou's apricot reputation has gone out, apricots are also sold, the masses are getting more and more drummed, and the appearance of mountain villages is getting higher and higher.
Du Junfeng, secretary of the party committee of Downtown Town, introduced that the next step will be to actively guide farmers to develop the integration of cultural tourism, agricultural tourism and business tourism on the basis of almond tree planting, expand the functions of Guanyin cultural inheritance, rural tourism, farming experience, leisure vacation, catering and homestay in the rural revitalization demonstration belt, and promote the extension and development of rural eating, living, shopping, entertainment and other industries, making it an important way to make holiday consumption and promote tourism quality improvement and farmers' income.
