Stanisław Lem 1921 –2006.3 was one of Poland's most eminent writers, writing dozens of novels during his lifetime, both science fiction and non-science fiction, the most famous of which was science fiction, and was hailed as "the most outstanding Polish science fiction writer without a doubt". His works are well known both in Poland and around the world, published in millions of copies and translated into 52 languages. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of Lem's birth, and the Lower House of The Polish Parliament designated 2021 as the "Year of Lyme" in tribute to the great Polish writer.

"Robot Master" is a science fiction "strange book" composed of twenty whimsical stories. The author, Lem, himself, once said: "If only one of my works can be passed on to the world, then I hope it is "Robot Master". ”
