Xu Shu: Zhou Li Notes on ancient texts and prints

author:Ancient

"Zhou Li Notes" Han Zheng Xuan Notes, Song Wuzhou City Gate Lane Tang House Engraving, Qing Wang Xi Sun Old Collection, later into the Yang's Haiyuan Pavilion, and then through the Han Weng Zi Solemn Kan Jian Collection, Lao Jian copied and supplemented, now in the National Library, Suo ISBN 7922.

The Catalogue of Chinese Engravings contains this book, Plate Nos. 88 and 89, Summary Yun: "One of the Four Classics of the Yang Dynasty and the Four Histories of the Old Collection of the Song Dynasty." Song Zhen lacked a pen to Huan and finished the word. The engravers Shen Heng and Xu Hu also carved Guangyun, and Guangyun lacked pens to construct characters and zizi, because it was inferred that this book was an early Southern Song Dynasty inscription. After volume three, there is the Tang House Record of Wuzhou City Gate Lane, and after Volume FOUR and Volume 12, there is the Wuzhou Tang Fengyi House Record. The so-called Wuzhou old version of the Nine Classics and Three Traditions is suspected to be this one. Tang Fengyi was suspected of being Tang Zhongyou, and Zhongyou was named after zhu Xi who was impeached by Zhu Xi for his books such as Xunzi" (荀子).

The value of the edition of this book and the process of delivery, Yang Shao and the "Records of the Book of Yang" and "Zhou Li Notes" Lao Jianbao said in detail, see Figures 1-8. Finally, it should be mentioned that the "Catalogue of Chinese Engravings" contains two books of the "Zhou Li Notes", namely the first of the second leaf of the volume and the end of the third leaf of the volume, and the first of the second leaf of the volume does not have any book seals, while the first leaf of the first leaf of the volume is collected but does not use it, somehow. Even if the first leaf of the second volume has something special, it should also include the leaf head of the first volume. This situation often happens in the "Catalogue of Chinese Editions", and Gai hastily wrote the book. Moreover, the two plates of the "Chinese Engraving Catalogue" are also mistakenly listed with no. 8634 "Zhou Li"; it should be No. 7922 "Zhou Li" (described in a separate article).
