Seal engravers in the Qing Dynasty were popular in multi-faceted printing creation, of which Wu Rangzhi liked it the most and was also the best at it. Among the multi-sided seals engraved by Wu, most of them are double-sided seals, and there are very few people above the four sides, a total of four sides, namely the four-sided seal of "Wu Xizai", the four-sided seal of "FangZhu Zhangren", the five-sided seal of "Wu Tingyang Seal", and the six-sided seal of "Grass and Wood Have a Heart". Since the above three parties are Wu Rangzhi's own seals, some connoisseurs have deduced that this seal may also belong to Ren Weng's own use, although there are doubts to be examined, but Wu Rang's six-sided seal is the only party in existence, but it is an indisputable fact, which is really a treasure!

Entering the white seal with the yuan Zhu wen seal method is a major feature of Wu Rangzhi's seal carving, all the way to the horizontal, wide, vertical and narrow, slightly rounded and penmanship of the flowing style, and his Zhu Wenyin harmonious unity. He is good at using the technique of shallow carving of the punching knife, the wrist is weak and the finger is real, the blade is cut, and his knife is like "the mind is too vain, if nothing happens".

Wu Changshuo commented: "Let Weng Pingsheng solidly obey the white, and yu Qin and Han seals to explore extremely deeply, so the sword method is round, there is no fiber Man qi, the weather is strong, and the quality is not lagging." Yu Yu Yuren: After learning bai, it is better to take the path of Rang Weng. He also said, "The calligraphy and painting are rigorous, the ancient and handsome people of the charm are not measured, they are covered with keeping without mud, and they can put themselves away without exceeding their moments." Cure the seal... The knife method is rounded, there is no habit of fiber man, the weather is strong, and the quality is not lagging."

This square seal is a masterpiece of Wu Xizai's seal engraving, and there are many records, but it was originally only scattered as a one-sided seal in the relevant Wu Xizai seal, and the earliest clear record of the six-sided seal should be the "Complete Collection of Chinese Seal Seal Engraving" published by the Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House in 1999, and since then this six-sided seal has become known.
