From August 2nd to 3rd, Chen Lang, a member of the party group and vice president of COFCO, and his working group went to Shiqu County to carry out research and support work.
The working group successively went to the Zhenda Township Shenlu Valley Scenic Area, Shiqu Specialty Products Exhibition Room, Benda Craftsmanship Handicraft Cooperative, and Zhengke Township Gengsha Village Red Fuji Apple Park to gain a detailed understanding of the area, cultivation quantity, apple production, and sales volume of Shiqu White Fungus, Black Green Barley Rice Dumpling, Yak Beef Lunch Canned lunch, and Apple Park through on-site inspection, listening to reports, on-site inquiries, etc. At the same time, it is pointed out that it is necessary to integrate resources to do fine, fine, and deep characteristic products with Shiqu regional brands, and at the same time grasp the opportunity of "live streaming with goods" to enhance the sales of Shiqu characteristic products. Township and town cadres should take the lead in running apple parks and make apple trees cash cows. The construction and operation of the apple park should not only solve the employment problem of the local farmers and herdsmen, but also provide a solid guarantee for the farmers and herdsmen to increase their income and become rich for a long time.
During the period, the working group also went to the home of Lobsang Jia Village, secretary of the old branch of Gengsha Village in Zhengke Township, to talk with the old party members about the family, talk about changes, learn more about their production and living conditions, and send them books, computers, and condolence money.
After the end of the research work, a symposium was held on the work of COFCO Group to help the stone canal. The unit sales party branch of COFCO Group and Shiqu County Native Products Company became the co-construction base; flowers and children donated love materials for public welfare; and COFCO Group also issued a consumer support order of 3.5 million yuan to Shiqu County.
