Ma Jun, former party secretary and chairman of Tianjin Residential Group, was subject to review and investigation

Tianjin, 26 May (China News Service) -- On 26 May, this reporter learned from the Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Supervision that Ma Jun, former secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of Tianjin Housing Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious violations of discipline and the law and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.

Ma Jun, male, Han ethnicity, born in August 1955, Shenyang, Liaoning, began working in January 1974, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1985, university degree.

From January 1974 to January 1978, Ma Jun joined the Subao Brigade of Mine Donggou Commune in Gaixian County, Liaoning Province as a Zhiqing, and entered the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Liaoning Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 1978 to study construction machinery. After graduating from university, he worked in Tianjin No. 3 Construction Engineering Company, and after 15 years, he rose from the head of the machine maintenance team of the company's machine construction department to the deputy manager of Tianjin No. 3 Construction Engineering Company. From September 1997 to January 2002, he served as the chairman and manager of Tianjin Sanjian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., from January 2002 to July 2005, he was the deputy general manager of Tianjin Construction Engineering Group (Holdings) Co., Ltd., from July 2005 to June 2006, he was the deputy director of Tianjin Municipal Administration of Work Safety; and from June 2006, he served as the party secretary and chairman of Tianjin Residential Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd. for ten years until his retirement in January 2016.
