When the old man heard this, he looked up to the sky and sighed: "I only helped you because you were loyal and good, and I didn't want to reciprocate, but you were suspicious of me." ”
After the fisherman said that, he took Wu Zixu's sword and killed himself, but Wu Zixu didn't have time to stop it, and he couldn't regret it.

Gongzi Guang is the son of Wu Wang Zhufan, the cousin of Wu Wangyi, he has always held a grudge against Wu Wangfang because of the issue of succession to the throne, and wants to get rid of him as soon as possible. Therefore, how could he let King Wu get such a good minister, so he tried his best to separate the relationship between the two.
In 518 B.C., the maidens of the border towns of Chu and the maidens of the border towns of Wu caused two families to fight each other because of the competition for mulberry leaves. Under the persuasion of Gongziguang, Wu Wangyi finally gave up his plan to attack Chu. Wu Wang's words were untrustworthy, and Wu Zixu was disheartened after repeatedly asking for war against Chu to no avail, so he resigned from his official position to Wu Wangyi and took Gongzisheng to live in seclusion in the mountains and forests.
Wu Zixu and Wu Wangyi parted ways, which gave Gongzi Guang an opportunity to take advantage of. Soon after, Gongziguang came to visit Wu Zixu and offered to prepare for him to fight Chu.
When the conspirator meets the careerist, the two hit it off. If Wu Zixu helped Gongziguang seize the throne, then in exchange, Gongziguang was willing to help Wu Zixu Xing's army attack Chu and take revenge.
Soon after, Wu Zixu recommended his friend Zhuan Zhu to Gongziguang, and secretly discussed a plan to assassinate Wu Wangyi. In order to ensure the success of the assassination, Gongzi Guang also gave the famous fish intestine sword to Zhu.
In 516 BC, just as Wu Zixu was preparing for an assassination, King Chuping died. When Gongziguang told Wu Zixu the news, he said sadly: "He actually died before I attacked Chu, I can't kill the enemy, how to take revenge." ”

Gongziguang listened to Wu Zixu's suggestion and immediately entered the palace to meet Wu Wangyi. Soon after, Wu Wangfang sent troops to attack Chu, and the front was full of successes, and then, Gongziguang feasted Wu Wangfang at home on the grounds of inviting celebrations.
In April 515 B.C., Gongzi Guang ambushed several armored warriors in an underground secret room, waiting for the arrival of the Wu prince, preparing to assassinate them at a banquet.
Soon after, Wu sent a large number of guards, escorting from the palace to Gongzi Guang's home, these are Wu Wang's cronies, they are tall, holding spears, standing in the middle of the road, a dignified and solemn.
Wu Wang's strict precautions did not make Gongziguang flinch, and when he drank to the fullest, Gongziguang left the banquet under the pretense of being ill, entered the basement, and asked Zhuan Zhu to put the fish intestine sword into the stomach of the grilled fish, and then offered the fish into it.
Zhuan Zhu walked towards the unsuspecting Wu Wangbi step by step with the grilled fish. When the Zhuan Zhu placed the fish on the table, Wu Wangzhi couldn't wait to taste the delicacy, and didn't care about offering the fish.
At this moment, Zhuan Zhu broke open the belly of the fish, obtained the fish intestine sword, and took advantage of the situation to kill Wu Wangyi, Wu Wangyi was killed on the spot, and his guards also killed Zhuan Zhu on the spot.
Just when Wu Wangyi's subordinates were in chaos and at a loss, Gongziguang took the opportunity to release the warriors who had been in ambush for a long time and wiped out all of Wu's subordinates.
After the death of King Wu, Gongzi Guang established himself as the monarch, that is, the famous King of Wu in history. In order to repay Zhuzhu's sacrifice of his life for the assassination, He Lu named his son Shangqing.
After this assassination, He Lu sealed the fish intestine sword with a box and never used it again.
Although Wu Wangyi is dead, his son Qingji is still alive, and if he does not die, He Lu will not be able to sit firmly on the throne. In order to remove obstacles for He Lu and raise troops to attack Chu as soon as possible, Wu Zixu found a righteous man to leave and assassinated Qingji.

Sun Wu replied: "Knowing yourself and knowing that the other side can survive a hundred battles. ”

When the two armies are facing each other, how can the generals not know the situation of the enemy army? How can this thing that everyone knows be called the art of war? ”

He Lu replied loudly: "The difference between victory and defeat is strong and weak, just like back then, Qin Ba Xirong. ”
Sun Wu smiled and continued to ask, "Then why did the same Qin Mugong defeat Kunshan. ”
He Lu replied: "That's because Qin Mugong didn't listen to the advice of Uncle Jian, the military advisor. ”
Sun Wu asked again: "What did Uncle Jian advise?" ”
He Lu said: "The Qin army is on an expedition, and the army is tired. ”

In Sun Wu's thirteen chapters on the art of war, the national events discussed can be said to integrate the law of winning the war with a strong country, which really makes He Lu quite excited. However, Sun Wu held the strange book in his hand but lived in seclusion in the mountains and forests, which made He Lu suspicious.
In the troubled times of the Spring and Autumn Period, there are many people who steal fame, does Sun Wu really have real talent and learning? However, in Wu Zixu's view, Sun Wu is a great general, and whether King Wu can reuse Sun Wu is related to the fate of Wu and his hatred of extermination.
Similarly, Sun Wu also had difficulty trusting this king of Wu who killed the king and seized the throne. Therefore, when he presented the thirteen articles of the art of war, he added this sentence: I will listen to my plan, use it to win, and keep it. If you don't listen, you will lose if you use it, and you will go to it.
This is Sun Wu's test of King Wu, which means that whether King Wu can listen to my strategy is related to the victory or defeat of the war, and also related to whether I can stay in Wu State, this sentence is not only a warning, but also the way to lead the army.

On this day, on the school field, Sun Wu divided the palace maids of the Wu Palace into two teams, with the two favorite concubines of He Lu as the captains. Sun Wusan ordered Wushen to command the palace maids to carry out their orders, but the palace maids turned a deaf ear and laughed.
Seeing this situation, he felt that it was difficult for him to take on a big responsibility, and what he said in the hall was big words.
Sun Wu saw that the palace maids did not abide by military discipline, so he roared angrily: "Stop, I have repeatedly ordered five times, but you despise the military order and do not respect the general's order, you should be punished by military law, come and drag it down and behead." ”
Seeing that Sun Wu was serious, he immediately stopped: "You dare to kill the widow's concubine." ”
Seeing this, Sun Wu admonished: "The king, the military orders are not strict, the military law is not in order, and the upper and lower lines are effective, and Wu will die." ”
Seeing Sun Wu's wild words, he couldn't help but be furious, and was about to cure Sun Wu's crime, Sun Wu continued: "King, isn't it child's play to drill and act, they despise military law not only to despise my Sun Wu, but also to despise the king, is it just talking about the king's desire to achieve hegemony?" ”
Seeing Sun Wu say this, he no longer stopped him, and could only let Sun Wu drag his two Aiji down and behead them. Sun Wu saw the opportunity and immediately ordered a counterattack, and the Wu army won five battles and five victories, and the momentum was like a bamboo, and in one fell swoop, the capital of Chu was attacked, and the king of Chu fled in a hurry.
At this time, Wu Zixu stood on the city wall of Yingdu, looking at his former homeland, he said sadly: "It's been sixteen years, I'm finally back, and the revenge of exterminating the clan will finally be avenged!" ”
After the Wu army invaded Yingdu, King Wu connived at the soldiers to burn and loot, and Wu Zixu dug up the body of King Chuping from the grave, identified the corpse 300 times, stomped on his stomach, and gouged out his eyes, so as to relieve the hatred in his heart.
Wu Xu couldn't show the king, but dug up the tomb of the king, took out his corpse, whipped three hundred, rubbed his abdomen with his left foot, and cut his eyes with his right hand.
After Wu Zixu's friend Shen Baoxu heard the news, he sent someone to persuade Wu Zixu and said: "The son's retribution is so great!" I have heard that the people are better than the sky, and the heavens will be able to break the people. The minister of the king of Ping, who is close to the north, is now a dead person, how can this be the extreme of heaven! ”
Wu Zixu replied: "Xie Shen Baoxu said for me, I can't go far in the future, so I will go against it." ”
Although Shen Baoxu understood Wu Zixu's revenge, he did not approve of his excesses in whipping the corpse. Such an act can only vent anger, and it will also arouse the anger of the people of Chu State, he hopes that Wu Zixu can restrain a little, but Wu Zixu still insists on going his own way.
In the end, Wu's failure to control the etiquette system shook China, and the vassal states sent troops to intervene in the name of justice. Under pressure, Wu had no choice but to withdraw from Yingdu, which had been occupied for nearly ten months.
However, although the state of Chu survived by luck, it never regained its former glory.
