Born in Taipei in 1986

Now he is engaged in book binding design, visual design of exhibition and performance activities, visual identity design and other graphic design affairs

In 2004, he graduated from the Songshan Family Business Advertising Design Department

In 2010, he graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design of Jingwen University of Science and Technology

In 2013, three works were shortlisted for GDC13 Graphic Design in China

In 2014 and 2015, several works were selected for Asia-Pacific Design, Asia Pacific Design Yearbook.

His work has also been included in Victory, Sandu, Hightone, SendPoints... Et al.,100 design books published by the Japan Typography Association, and have received interviews with japanese イポグラィ association (Japan Typography Association) published magazine タイポグラフィックス・ティー(typs t)之 interview。 He has also been invited to participate in the book design exhibition held by Hengshan and Ji/Cultural Force Research Institute in China. Cai Jiahao, a designer who makes good use of fonts

When I first took on this case, I noticed that a smiley face should be placed in the stroke of the word "laugh". When the editor introduced the book, he sorted out a lot of Mitani Yuki's characteristics and ideas, some of which were: like dolls, like games, and have a naïve playful heart, and I also found out on the Internet that the author Mitani Yuki, as an only son, liked to rehearse stories with dolls since he was a child, and said that the solitude of his childhood was his future creative nourishment.

Combining the above two points, I designed a "laugh" word with a smiley face as the main visual focus in a rounded and full style, this standard word is like a doll with a comedic and joyful atmosphere (the lower half is also like a pair of legs), the smiley face in the stroke is also highlighted by fluorescent green, and let the smiley face appear alone outside the main seal: the waist, the inner cover, and the back cover to strengthen the recognition.

The full font strokes, in addition to capturing the appearance style of the doll, also match the rounded, big-eyed smiling image of Mitani Yuki himself.

The story is synopsised that the Soviet investigation team asked the Japanese captives to find a tunnel from under the volcano to Japan, and in the process the two sides chased underground, experienced the shroud of hunger and pain, and saw that creatures that should have been extinct in ancient times, such as dinosaurs, were still alive underground...

So I drew a volcano on the top of the mountain that looks like a claw/sharp tooth, the reflection of the volcano intuitively symbolizes the "underground", the reflection can be directly regarded as the claw of the beast, and the text block that is cut off on both sides of the reflection simulates the state of "crossing the underground", and finally supplemented by a large net to create an atmosphere of imprisonment and isolation.

The Japanese name "Underground Tukuni", which differs from the Chinese title in the "Beast" character writing, presses the standard characters with a small print size, which on the one hand strengthens the readability of the standard characters and adds visual characteristics.

The theme and subtitle of the book emphasize the director and the author himself, so the design focuses on the director's point of view, using the director's barrel as an element of imagination, disassembling it into the geometry on the front cover (the back cover, the inner cover and the waist of the book are also deliberately placed with the icon of the director's barrel), and then the repetition of the stills to constitute the montage image of the film as a film grid collage.

The geometry of compression or expansion and deformation is also symbolic of the director's various angles, and the expressions of the characters are specially obscured differently to suggest that the expressions provide the viewer's imagination space: the actor's face, expression, and action are one of the focuses of this book.

Finally, the names of the Japanese sections incorporated in the geometry are disassembled into the cover and back cover of the inner cover and the geometric figure respectively, as a small clue for the reader to discover the source of the fragmented Japanese language on the cover.
