In 2008, Ke Ming, who was in college, and Q and Forrest Gump ended the previous band, the new group Phono Bugs Orchestra, in 2011, Komin's new group of electronic orchestras had spaces on the board and invited Luming (IF), who had the same musical preferences, to join, and subsequently, Luming also joined Sonic Bugs as guitarists, and the four-member lineup of Phono Bugs Orchestra was officially established.

" Phonon " is a term in solid-state physics. Microscopically, any solid matter is formed by the arrangement of atoms, vibrating like springs to each other, producing quanta with energy, called Phonon, or phonons. The worm is composed of three worms, just like the three members at the beginning of the phono orchestra, and the individual to the group sound energy is quite extreme, which also means that the music of the phono is quiet and noisy. The name Phono was coined by guitarist Ke Ming, who is quiet and noisy, and that is also his character.
Ke Ming learned piano from an early age and cultivated a keen perception of sound and music, from the student days to contact different types of music, listen to music is also quite extreme, like classical music such a very quiet style also like metal, Hardcore such a violent noise, his extreme preference for music laid the foundation for the musical quiet and noise of the phono.

Bassist Q, who likes Alternative and indie music, has been listening to classical music before knowing Cumming, further balancing the grumpy part of Phonum's music; drummer Forrest Gump has been in contact with the orchestra since high school, because of his relationship with Komin and Q's division brothers and sisters; Luming joined Sonic Ant, just graduated from graduate school, and knew Comin, because they like each other's music, especially like to listen to the soundtrack of movies. He was invited by Ke Ming to join the space and sound on the board.

In this way, Sonic, whose music is marked by stillness and noise, has grown into an important force in Taiwan's backstabbing, and in 2010 and 2012, he served as the opening guest of the Japanese post-rock troupe Toe and Mouse On The Keys Asia Tour in Taiwan.
Sonic Is a must-see group, and their mainland tour of "Stars Falling" will begin on April 15th. The four members also chatted with us across the river about their creations, performances and urban memories.

Q: Is Sonic Agon a diligent orchestra? In creation, is there anyone who dominates? Or will you refer to everyone's opinions?
Ke Ming: After leaving the student identity to work in the society, because we are not engaged in orchestra work full-time, we must work while creating, relying on the income from work to maintain life and run the orchestra, of course, this will also be compressed to the time of the training group, compared to the frequency of the student era, the frequency of the group is relatively less, the itinerary of the members need to be discussed to determine the time of the group, and it is impossible to use the time at will.
Q: The songs of Sonic Zixia are all keming will first throw out some song structures and ideas to the members of the group, adjust the arrangement of the songs during the training of the group, and finally through mutual discussion, they will be more sure of the appearance of the songs.

Q: HasNamo hasn't signed a record label? I see that all kinds of performance affairs are done by the band members themselves, how are these jobs distributed?
Ke Ming: In fact, Sonic Worm and the space on the chessboard have jointly established a label - "Slap Music", and have released albums of these two groups and some friendly groups, but the work of the agent and the like is still handled by myself: I am mainly responsible for the performance engagement, the orchestra's finances, Luming is responsible for the record distribution, channeling, Q and Forrest Gump are responsible for the orchestra practice time confirmation, instrument equipment management. We seem to be really independent (laughs)!
Q: Music fans often say that the music of Sonic Zixia has a strong Tainan atmosphere, in your concept, what is this "Tainan atmosphere"?
Q: The atmosphere of the breath seems to be difficult to describe, not so much regional as it is a great continuation of the concerts we like to listen to, but because the three of us have lived in Tainan for almost ten years, and it is the most free youth in our lives, so perhaps we have silently joined the idea of the city.

Q: After listening to your music, would you like to go to Tainan to play and recommend a must-visit place in Tainan?
Ke Ming: Xiaohaozhou sand tea stove, fruit ice shop.

Q: What do you like to do in private?
Ke Ming: My usual job is to be a chef and I like to cook. She enjoys traveling, movies, watching shows, playing PS4, and reading books that are different from my field of knowledge.
Luming: Loved watching movies.
Q: I watch shows, read books and movies, and travel to Japan a lot.
Forrest Gump: I often cook by myself, travel, and sometimes stay at home all day and do nothing.

Q: Do you often communicate with other bands in Taiwan? What is the relationship between orchestras in Taiwan?
Ke Ming: A lot of eh, we have been acquainted with some Taiwanese orchestras in recent years because of the relationship between performances, such as the Morning Light Gallery, Pat Xie Teenager, Skin, Manic Sheep, until I see the eyes of whales, etc., and I also know some post-swaying orchestras in Taiwan, and everyone will help promote each other's performances and news on the Internet, even if everyone's feelings are quite good!
Q: You've been to many places to perform, do you feel different when you perform in different places?
Q: We have a special impression of the sounds of the city, such as the shouting of people, the continuous flow of traffic on the street, and the sound of horns, which will create different impressions of the city in our minds. In addition to the impression of the city itself, there are also more enthusiastic fans on the mainland (laughs)!

Q: Your most recent album is Midnight City in 2012, are there any new album plans this year?
Forrest Gump: In the past two years, I have been preparing for new albums in the future, and this performance will also perform new songs, which will be included in the new albums later. Hope to release a new album this year!
Q: Will this mainland tour bring something new? Looking forward to sharing your thoughts and expectations with you?
Ke Ming: In terms of touring places outside Of Taiwan, we did a tour of 6 performances in 3 cities in the United States in 2014, and a tour of 4 performances in 4 cities in the mainland in 2016, which was an intensive tour of 8 cities in the mainland, the first two times the audience was very different, very fresh, and they all had some different feelings about our performances. Like the cosmopolitan excitement of New York, the American southern atmosphere of Austin, the enthusiasm of Shanghai, and so on. This tour is a more different challenge, whether it is physical strength, performance quality, in each tour will ask themselves to do better, but also hope to let more listeners know that Taiwan has a vocal worm, I am looking forward to and excited, look forward to the mainland audience can be more advice!
Luming: This is the first time that there are more tours, and I am looking forward to the different faces of each city, of course, it is great to challenge myself!
Q: This tour will be the most intensive and short spanning of cities in a short period of time since we started the tour, and it will also bring something new to the tour, and I hope that the audience who comes to see it can be happy.
