In terms of body color, the Oriental Podemous Flower Golden Turtle is much brighter and more beautiful than the most common white star flower Golden Turtle in China, its body is mostly blue-green or blue-green, and there is a diamond-shaped brass-colored area from the head, chest and abdomen of the elytra, and in the sun, the whole body emits a metallic luster. Unlike the single-colored golden turtle, the Oriental flower golden turtle is regularly distributed with off-white markings from the chest to the elytra of the abdomen, with a turquoise body color, similar to Van Gogh's famous painting Starry Sky on the Rhone River.

As a completely metamorphosed insect, the Oriental Pornos flower golden turtle will go through four stages in its life: egg, larva, pupae and adult. His larval scientific name is grub, which is commonly known as "soil silkworm" and "earth dog" in the mouth of the common people, generally living in humus-filled soil, the body is mostly curved "C" shape, the body color is yellow or reddish brown, and the body is white translucent.

Grubs mostly feed on humus in the soil or wood, but the dung golden turtle larvae are very heavy in taste, they feed on feces, and a very small number of golden turtle larvae feed on the roots of plants.
