The sources said that the current negotiations between the two sides have reached an impasse. The only demand of the Taliban was for the Pony Sous army to surrender unconditionally, but the condition offered by the Taliban was that the Taliban would "negotiate peace" with them. The Tajiks believed that their strength and combat effectiveness were disproportionate to the resistance, and that the other side was not "qualified" to make peace with them and could only accept the demands; in the end, the Taliban decided to use a strong attack to completely crush the Masood Resistance Front.
