According to Article 62 of the Implementing Regulations of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, it is forbidden to drive a motor vehicle continuously for more than 4 hours without stopping for a break or stopping for less than 20 minutes.
The Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses (Order No. 139 of the Ministry of Public Security) stipulates:
If you continuously drive a medium-sized or above passenger car or dangerous goods transport vehicle for more than 4 hours without stopping for a break or stopping for less than 20 minutes, 12 points will be deducted at a time;
If a motor vehicle other than a medium-sized passenger car or a dangerous goods transport vehicle is continuously driven for more than 4 hours and does not stop for a break, or the parking break time is less than 20 minutes, 6 points will be deducted at a time.
