The rescue of the gold mine explosion accident in Qixia Wat Mountain, Shandong Province, which trapped 22 workers underground, has entered its 10th day. This progress has not been easy. The relevant person in charge of the rescue command headquarters said that ground drilling faces many difficulties: due to complex geological conditions, the fractures in the rock formation structure are easy to cause drilling holes to "jam drill", and the construction is difficult; after the drilling hole and the roadway are penetrated, such as the large amount of water inrush, it is easy to cause the underground water level to increase, which poses a threat to the safety of the trapped personnel; the drilling depth is large, the structure is many, it is easy to deviate, and there is uncertainty in achieving accurate penetration with the roadway.
In fact, after the No. 3 drill hole that achieved penetration this time was drilled to 521 meters, the deviation was confirmed by measurement to be 7.3 meters, and it had to be added to the team with strong ability to control the slope and correct the distortion.
At present, rescue is still facing great difficulties, and it is in a situation where there is "encirclement" and then "pursuing soldiers".
Let's start with "containment." Wellbore clearance is difficult and progress has been slow. The information disclosed by the emergency rescue command shows that at 12 o'clock on the 16th, the depth of the return wind wellbore clearance was 350 meters; at 12 o'clock on the 19th 3 days later, this figure was still 350 meters. The relevant person in charge said that a serious blockage was encountered at this location from the wellhead, and the wind supply and drainage pipelines, power supply communication cables, etc. were intertwined and superimposed; the construction space in the wellbore was narrow, the hanging cage section was small, and the obstacle clearance construction was extremely difficult.
In terms of ground drilling, although the No. 1 drill hole and the No. 3 borehole have been penetrated from the roadway where the trapped personnel are located, the No. 2 drill hole has been abandoned due to the crushing of the jam drill and the No. 5 drill hole cannot be corrected due to deviations of 7.3 meters. The relevant person in charge said: "It is understood that in the mine rescue, there are not many precedents for hitting a depth of 600 meters. ”
Look at "chasing soldiers" again. Chen Fei, deputy commander of the emergency rescue command and mayor of Yantai City, said on the 18th that it is necessary to pay attention to the risks brought about by the rise of the underground water level. According to the drilling data and the feedback of the trapped personnel in the fifth middle section, the underground water permeability is serious, and the water permeability is about 10 cubic meters per hour, which affects the living environment of the trapped people.
Previously, the rescue was carried out in accordance with the idea of "two legs" in parallel, on the one hand, to speed up the cleaning of the obstacles of the wellbore of the return wind well, on the other hand, to speed up the drilling of the ground and open up the life channel. On January 19, the emergency rescue command further optimized the work ideas and clarified the overall rescue plan of "3+1", namely: life maintenance monitoring channel (No. 1 and No. 3 borehole), life rescue channel (wellbore and No. 10 borehole), drainage support channel (No. 7 and No. 8 boreholes); "1" is: auxiliary detection channel (No. 4, No. 6 and No. 9 borehole).
Specifically, in terms of "breaking through the containment", the emergency rescue command focused on improving the speed of wellbore clearance, adjusted the wellbore clearance plan, added two stable vehicles, adopted a three-layer plate arrangement, the upper plate was used as a protective plate, the lower two plates were used as a work plate, small debris was lifted with a hanging cage, and large debris was directly lifted with a hook head. Ma Zhimin, a member of the accident rescue expert group and deputy commander of the Wind Well Clearance Working Group, introduced that after changing the double-layer hanging cage used for obstacle clearance to a three-layer hanging plate, the number of wreckers working in the well per shift increased from 2-3 to 7-10 people, and the round-trip speed of the hanging pan was also faster, and the cleaning efficiency was greatly improved. However, at 350 meters underground, there was a visual siltation of obstacles about 7 meters high, and it still took some time to complete the clean-up.
At the same time, the No. 10 borehole was newly opened as a rescue escape channel, and as of 12 o'clock on the 19th, the site was being leveled and the drilling was being started as soon as possible. Drill holes 4, 6 and 9 are used as auxiliary detection channels to search for missing contacts. As of 12:00 on the 19th, the No. 4 drilling hole was 555 meters, the No. 6 drilling was 480 meters, and the No. 9 drilling hole was 9 meters.
In terms of "intercepting and pursuing soldiers", two drill holes No. 7 and No. 8 were drilled as drainage support channels. As of 12:00 on the 19th, the No. 7 drill hole was 28 meters in, and the No. 8 drill hole design was completed, waiting for the site to be leveled.
In addition, on the 19th, the National Health and Health appointed an emergency medical rescue expert group to guide the health emergency handling of the Wat Mountain Gold Mine explosion accident. It is reported that the expert group is composed of 5 experts from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, and Beijing Anding Hospital specializing in critical care medicine, nutrition, neurosurgery, occupational disease and poisoning medicine, and psychological intervention. The relevant person in charge of the emergency rescue command headquarters said that after the arrival of the experts of the National Health commission, the medical assistance plan will be re-optimized, the physical condition of each trapped person will be detailed, a separate health file will be established, and it will be clear what food to eat and what medicine to use to improve the pertinence of physical rehabilitation.
