The Prosecutor's Tale is a crime comedy film directed by Lee Il-jiong and starring Hwang Jeong-min and Kang Dong-won, released in South Korea on February 3, 2016.
The film tells the story of a prosecutor who has been wrongfully imprisoned and joins forces with Hua Meinan, a fraudster with nine criminal records, to exonerate himself in prison.

The multi-blood prosecutor Bian Zaixu (Huang Zhengmin) is a righteous but informal activist who is not soft on criminal suspects, but he is full of spirits and is charged with "violent death and abuse of power" one day, and was sentenced to 15 years of detention and became a prisoner. After being imprisoned, Bian Jae-wook meets Han Chi-won (Kang Dong-won), a 32-year-old fraudster who has been convicted of nine previous convictions and has been imprisoned for the tenth time. Bian Jae-wook promised Han Chi-won that he could help him get out of prison, and the two reached a cooperation, and immediately launched a unique "fraud" operation. Under the planning and command of Bian Jae-wook, Han Chi-won has transformed into a rogue, a politician, a prosecutor and other multiple identities. The former in order to exonerate the crime, while the latter in order to regain freedom to challenge the "career" to a new height, as the action unfolds, the cooperation between the two is gradually getting better, and Zai Wook finally succeeds in revenge against the mysterious organization that framed him.
