Some people pay more attention to the story when watching the movie, and the tolerance for the camera, soundtrack and details is higher, just for this whole story, I still think "Invincible Destruction King" is more attractive!
Of course, the Oscar award criteria are definitely different from ordinary people, and I am not willing to participate in the debate over the awards, and I still intend to discuss "Brave Legends" from the perspective of the story.
Here first of all, I want to explain to you that this point of view is from the point of view of deficiencies, and the most important thing is to explore from the perspective of the story!

I can't help but be amused when I see the mother turn into a bear and interact with her daughter, and the use of editing and foreshadowing between the protagonist and the mother is equally admirable! However, after the psychological expectations reach the highest, it will feel that this film is not particularly good. So what I want to discuss is what deficiencies in this film have caused me to feel such a psychological gap.

When I first watched this film, there was a sense of violation, this story is set in fiction, and the protagonist is a princess of a country. The princess's personality is very frank, and her mother, as the queen, has always emphasized what kind of posture the principal maintains, and there is nothing wrong with the conflict between the relationships between the characters, but it is not convincing in that background.
The kingdom where the protagonist is located appears to be just a small town, the living palace is also made of stones, and the castle is not decorated too much. In such an environment, the mother's repeated emphasis on the image of the princess seems a little too pretentious, just like in real life, the village chief's wife asks her daughter to be like a princess, which will only increase the laughter.
At the same time, the mother uses a tough attitude to ask the protagonist to accept and kiss, and says that if she does not go to the kiss, there will be a war! But why does it actually cause war? What kind of contradictions are there with the tribes? What will the marriage change? The film does not give any explanation for these problems.

It can almost be said that the story background of this film is not considered, although the emotional motives of the characters are very real, but they are not complete! This also leads to the whole story being like an attic in the sky, because the background of the story cannot make me comfortable, so I will feel unreasonable when I see the mother's behavior of forcing her daughter, which is also a reason for the gap.
Another shortcoming of this film is that the story theme and the plot cannot be connected, the title of the movie is "Brave", but after watching this whole movie, I still do not understand what this courage is saying, and give this same explanation at the end of the movie.
Some people say that we have no way to control our destiny, and the outcome will not be decided by ourselves. But the protagonist has a better understanding! Fate is in our hearts, and all we have to do is to have the courage to face it.

There is no doubt that this is the prominent theme of the whole movie, but after watching this theme many times, this line in English still has no way to understand what it means? The theme of the story should not be as vague as this, it must be very clear!
Just like at the end of Invincible Destruction King, the protagonist says that he doesn't need to use a medal to prove that he is a good person! After reading it, everyone can understand the theme of the whole story, and the plot also proves this theme.

In "Legend of Bravery", when the protagonist is forced to be and kiss, she does not want to accept such a fate, so she goes to ask the witch for the magic to come and turn her mother into a bear! This is not what the protagonist wants, so the protagonist wants to restore his mother to her original appearance, and in the end everyone is happy.
The mother has changed back to the way it was, the daughter does not have to kiss, the whole plot is like this! But it is difficult to see the connection between the plot and the theme, what kind of fate does the protagonist have? What is the fate of the mother? What kind of development did the kingdom develop later? If fate is peace and affection, then the story did not go at the end, how to reflect the two words of courage?
These two problems are the main source of my gap, according to the logic of the plot and the character image, this film is not a big problem, but its background and theme seem to be a bit empty, so that the story is originally missing support!
