The obituary circulating on the Internet reads: Dong Cui, female, a practicing lawyer at Liaoning Shunqingman Law Firm, was unfortunately killed at work on August 14, 2021, at the age of 50. Mr. Dong Cui graduated from the Central Radio and Television University and the China University of Political Science and Law with a major in law, began to engage in legal work in 1999, and obtained the legal professional qualification certificate and the lawyer practice qualification certificate in 2011, and engaged in full-time lawyer work. He is a member of the Real Estate and Construction Project Legal Professional Committee of the Liaoning Lawyers Association, a member of the Fushun Female Lawyers Work Special Committee of the Fushun Lawyers Association, a lecturer of the Fushun Women Lawyers Work Special Committee of the Fushun Lawyers Association, and a public interest lawyer of the Women's Federation.

On August 15, Mr. Guo, a lawyer at Liaoning Shunqingman Law Firm, confirmed to Jimu News that Mr. Dong Cui had indeed been killed on August 14, and that the obituary was true.
"Listening to the lawyers association, lawyer Dong Cui was killed by a client in a case she recently handled, and it is said that she was stabbed three times, and the specific circumstances of the case are not very clear." Mr. Guo told Jimu News that Mr. Dong Cui was attached to Liaoning Shunqingman Law Firm 3 years ago, while Liaoning Shunqingman Law Firm is in Qingyuan County, Fushun City, and Mr. Dong Cui usually lives and works in Fushun City.
A male lawyer in Fushun, who did not want to be named, told Jimu News that they did receive an obituary issued by the Fushun Lawyers Association about the murder of female lawyer Dong Cui, but the specific circumstances of the case were not very clear, but there were indeed rumors that Dong Cui was killed by a client in a recently handled case.
Mr. Lin, a relevant person in charge of the Fushun Lawyers Association, told Jimu News that at present, the local public security organs have filed a case and are conducting a detailed investigation, and the Lawyers Association is assisting the family in handling this matter, and the specific circumstances are not convenient to disclose.
On the morning of August 15, a reporter from Jimu News called the Fushun Municipal Public Security Bureau, and the staff on duty said that they were not aware of the matter.

The lawyer who was killed was enthusiastic about the public interest
According to the information released by the official WeChat of the Fushun Lawyers Association, during the covid-19 epidemic in early 2020, more than a dozen female lawyers in Fushun City voluntarily combined to send warmth to card points in various street communities continued from February 16 to 17. In Mr. Guo's memory, Mr. Dong Cui often participates in public welfare activities organized by the Lawyers Association and is a cheerful and smiling female lawyer.
"To this day, I can't believe that the murder of lawyer Dong Cui is real, it was too unexpected and too sudden." Mr. Guo, a lawyer at Liaoning Shunqingman Law Firm, told Jimu News that in the past month, Lawyer Dong Cui had returned to Qingyuan once, and everyone was still chatting together. At present, he is going to Fushun Downtown Road to help deal with the aftermath of Lawyer Dong Cui.
