The Laotian and Myanmar law enforcement boats involved in the operation have successfully returned to their home countries.
The joint patrol and law enforcement operation lasted 4 days and 3 nights, with a total voyage of more than 500 kilometers, and the four countries of China, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand sent a total of 4 law enforcement boats and 81 law enforcement team members to carry out full-line and sectional joint patrols in the waters from Jingha to the Golden Triangle of the Mekong River in China, Mengmo in Laos, and Ban Xiangguo in The way of "zero contact", and sent law enforcement team members to carry out law enforcement operations along the Mekong River, effectively deterring and cracking down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities, and effectively safeguarding the security and stability of the Mekong River Basin.
It is reported that during the operation, the relevant law enforcement departments of the four sides of China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand held a video conference to conduct in-depth exchanges on the recent epidemic prevention and control in the river basin, the public security situation, and the joint fight against cross-border crimes.
