Hong Kong actress Lottie, formerly known as Xi Chongyi, was born on August 29, 1937 in Shanghai to a family of merchants. Lottie is a famous Chinese film actor in Hong Kong, with a deep girlish temperament and a reputation as a "classical beauty".
Xi Jia is a well-known family in Pudong, Shanghai, and owns the famous "Xi Fu Ji Construction Factory" in Shanghai Beach. Lottie was a widow, and her father, Xi Zhaonian, died of Japanese aircraft bombing while out dining with friends a week before she was born. Lottie's mother's family is also a big family in Shanghai Beach, and her grandfather Gu Zhuxuan is a famous "Jiangbei tycoon", and the "Tiantou Stage" operated by him ranks first among the four major stages in Shanghai, and famous theater artists such as Mei Lanfang, Zhou Xinfang, and Gai Mingtian often perform here. After her father's death, Lottie's mother, Ms. Gu Yuxiu, took her five siblings back to her mother's house in Yingchunfang, Fourth Road.
