Giovanni Rebisi returns to the Avatar sequel
According to Deadline, Giovanni Rebisi has officially confirmed his return to the 4-part sequel to Avatar, continuing to play Parker Selfridge, the head of the RDA of mining company.
Previously confirmed returnees include Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigour, and Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, who has worked with Cameron on Titanic, and a bunch of young actors who play the descendants of Sully (Sam Worthington).
Filming of the Avatar sequel began in Late September on Manhattan Beach, California, and the location of the first film was not chosen in New Zealand.
Parts 2 and 3 will be shot back-to-back, and after completing post-production of both, Cameron will continue to make the 4th and 5th, with a total budget of more than $1 billion for the four sequels.
The four sequels to Avatar will be released on December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024, and December 19, 2025.
Gong Li confirmed to join the "British Showdown" director of the new film "Ana"
According to the American media "Variety" news, Gong Li confirmed the mountain and joined martin Campbell's action thriller "Ana" (tentative translation) who had directed "British Showdown", "007: Casino Royale" and "007: GoldenEye".
Set in Europe, Ana is set in a similar tone to Luc Besson's 1990 action film Nikita, with screenwriter Richard Wink (Justice, Daredevil 2), with Arthur Saccon and Wu Zheng as producers, and Wu Zheng also funding the film.
The film is expected to be released in March or April next year.
