
On July 19, Beijing time, Israeli player Omi Kasby announced his retirement from the 2009 first round show.
Kasby held a press conference in his native Israel to announce his decision to retire. Over the past two seasons, he has played for Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv. He is the No. 1 NBA debut in Israeli history. Last year, Denis Avdía entered the league as a first-round show, with the two team-mates at Maccabi.
Cosby played 10 seasons in the NBA, playing for the Kings, Cavaliers, Rockets, Pelicans, Timberwolves, Warriors and Grizzlies. In his career, he played in 588 regular-season games, averaging 7.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals per game, shooting 36.8 percent from three-point range.
