Robin López: In the third and fourth grades, I was once made fun of by the mascot by saying the wrong name

Tiger Punch September 02, 2019 Recently, Magic center Robin Lopez participated in a podcast show, talking about the origin of his feud with the NBA mascots.

"Really, my feud with them goes back to the third and fourth grades. At the time, the Warriors mascot was signing autographs for fans and then asking for my name. I didn't speak clearly at the time, and I said 'Robin' as 'Wu Bin'. And he signed me up: 'To Robin: Where's Wu in your name?' ’”

"So, I think that's the source of my dispute with the mascots."
