From the age of 15 to 83, Tang Yueying worked as Xu Yulan's student for 69 years. In the "Yulan Troupe" led by Xu Yulan and Wang Wenjuan, the Second Troupe of Shanghai Yue Theatre and later the Red Chamber Troupe, he participated in many plays. For example, in the first version of "Dream of the Red Chamber" in 1958, she played Wang Xifeng, in the movie "Dream of the Red Chamber" as Mandarin Duck, in "Jade Hairpin" as Lady Li, in "Meng Lijun" and yu Hong in "Female Pilot", as the queen in "Playing Golden Branch" and so on.
