The video shows some protesters sitting in the middle of the road, holding placards. Police tried to drive them off the road, but some glued their hands to the road or stuck to each other. Police then used solvent to separate the hand of a female demonstrator from the road, screaming "it's painful."

Police reported that a total of 53 people were arrested on suspicion of obstructing road traffic. The British government announced a ban in September warning climate change protesters that they could be jailed if they continue to obstruct road traffic. (Overseas Network Zhang Qi)
