Sun Lu, a native of Qianjiang Zongkou Management District, was transported from Qianjiang Children's Sports School to Hubei Provincial Aquatic Center in 2008, and won the third place in the men's double sculls of the National Games (Dalian) in 2013, the first place in the men's double sculls of the national rowing in 2015, the second place in the 2000 meters of the national rowing double sculls in 2016, and the fourth place in the 2000 meters of the double sculls of the National Games (Tianjin) in 2017. In January 2020, Sun Lu was recruited to the national team training by the Aquatic Center of the State General Administration of Sport.
