According to Deadline news, Fraser will star as Firefly, but has not been officially confirmed.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Batwoman was looking for "a 50- to 60-year-old actor to play a villain of a 'disgruntled former firefighter.'"
So, even if the villain of this movie is not called "Firefly", it must be an adaptation of this character.
Firefly first appeared in Detective Comics #184 in 1952, by France Herron and Dick Sprang.
In 1992, Brandon became very popular with the comedy "The Ensino" and starred in a series of popular films, including the "Mummy" trilogy that made Brandon Fraser shine, but the failure of "Mummy 3" in 2008 also took a big hit on his career and temporarily withdrew from the spotlight; after "Adventures in the Center of the Earth" in the same year, he was rarely seen on the big screen.
However, with the addition of DC, Brandon's career has a second spring, and due to the wonderful performance in the series "Doom Patrol", more and more projects have returned to Brandon's side.
It's important to note, though, that Brandon Fraser isn't the go-to actor for the Batwoman villain.
According to Boris Kitt of The Hollywood Reporter, "Shark King" Sylvester Stallone is the first choice for The Batwoman villain.
However, "things did not work out", because of the schedule problem, so the main creator turned to work with Brandon.
Well, let me correct it: Warner Bros. insiders have confirmed that Fraser is playing Firefly.

Batwoman will be DC's first original live-action film for HBO Max.
It's part of Warner's new strategy to send movies with smaller characters directly to streaming, while the most popular movies are kept in theaters.
HBO Max original films also under development include Blue Beetle and Zatana.
