Strike hard! Guangzhou Huadu banned 6 gas "black spots"

Recently, the Guangzhou Huadu District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau received reports from the public that there are suspected illegal storage of gas bottles in the jurisdiction, which has serious safety accidents.

After receiving the report, the urban management department of Huadu District immediately organized personnel to go to the area around the West Road of the Tea Garden in the Public Welfare Village to investigate and verify. After being confirmed as a "black spot", law enforcement personnel were quickly dispatched to carry out joint law enforcement inspection operations for gas unlicensed operations together with the local law enforcement team and the local police station. After investigation and evidence collection, some of the gas cylinders temporarily detained at the scene do not have a certificate of conformity, some have exceeded the inspection date, and some bottles have long been rusted, basically in a scrap state, and there are no fire safety facilities in the place where the gas cylinders are stored, and there is no relevant license for sales and storage of gas. The action group immediately made a decision and successively banned the illegal operation of gas "black spots" hidden in 6 places, including Lane 4 north of Tea Garden Road on Longzhu Road, Tea Garden, and Fenghuazhuang on Xinhua Street, temporarily seized 135 liquefied gas cylinders in accordance with the law, conducted a conversation investigation and severe criticism and education of the parties on the spot, and investigated and punished them according to law.

It is understood that since the beginning of this year, the Huadu city management department has inspected 3863 business premises, inspected 179 transport vehicles, investigated and dealt with 108 cases of operating black spots and black cars, temporarily detained 4428 illegal gas cylinders, temporarily detained 22 transport vehicles, and filed 51 cases.

Recently, it has been found that with the continuous intensification of the rectification of gas "black spots", the "black gas" of unlicensed operations in various forms is becoming more and more hidden. As the weather turns colder, the amount of gas used by residents continues to increase, and the price of liquefied gas has risen, a small number of residents for convenience, buy and sell at will, use "black bottles" and "black gas" sold through formal channels such as unsafe testing, and the potential sources of gas use are also increasing. The urban management department of Huadu District will continue to unite with public security and other functional departments to deeply absorb the lessons of gas explosion accidents inside and outside the province, and while continuously increasing the supervision and inspection of gas safety hazards, consolidate the main responsibility of gas trading enterprises, supervise and urge gas operating enterprises to self-examine and self-correct, and ensure that there are "no dead ends" in distribution, installation, and use; compact the responsibility of town street supervision, timely investigate and grasp the clues of gas violations, and severely crack down on illegal acts such as operating gas "black spots" and "mobile sales of gas with cars".
