Yesterday morning, although Zhang Chenyu had been missing for nearly 30 hours, the search and rescue work was still intense. The Dongxihu District Transportation Bureau and the District Transportation Construction Headquarters urgently mobilized more than 200 people, put in 2 large cranes, 3 positive and negative shovel rolling machines and 15 transport vehicles, dug up the soil nearby, filled the soil and intercepted the flow, blocked the upstream flow, and lowered the water level of the search water. The water level is lowered by cutting off the water flow and creating convenient conditions for the search. As of 12 noon, the water level in the search waters had dropped by one meter from the day before, but it was still four or five meters deep.

Chen Lisheng, the head of the squad, said they searched in nine waters and still did not find Zhang Chenyu's figure two hours later.
Some villagers said that after Zhang Chenyu was swept away by the flood, he had seen flashlight lights for firefighters less than 100 meters downstream of the embankment. Based on these clues, search and rescue personnel constantly adjusted the scope of search and rescue. Chen Jinsong, chief of staff of the Wuhan Fire Brigade, said that the Navy, Changhang, firefighting, and civilian search and rescue groups are all in action... Jiang Yongkuan, manager of the Wuhan salvage team, said that after Zhang Chenyu was swept away by the rapids, he should have been stopped by the fishing nets that existed in the river.
According to reports, Zhang Chenyu, who sank into the water for more than 30 hours, was still wearing an orange fire suit when he was found, and the diver carrying an oxygen tank went into the water to rescue him, but he had long stopped breathing, never saw his comrades-in-arms again, and thanked his driver and the general public. Hearing this bad news, the hero's father and relatives were in pain.
Zhang Chenyu's good friend Liu Jingtao is currently a junior at Yangtze University. According to his introduction, Xiaoyu grew up with her, and the relationship between the two is very good. In December 2010, Xiao Yu went to the army after graduating from high school to become a soldier.
