Jianye Real Estate (00832.HK) repurchased $14.28 million in November 2021 notes

On October 12, 2021, Jianye Real Estate (00832.HK) announced that from October 1, 2021 to October 11, 2021, the Company repurchased some of the November 2021 Notes from the open market, with a total principal amount of US$14.28 million, representing 3.57% of the total initial principal amount of the Notes in November 2021. As at the date of the announcement, the total principal outstanding for the November 2021 Notes was $400 million. The Board expects that the repurchased senior notes will be cancelled and will no longer be outstanding.

The Board is of the view that the repurchase of its senior notes will reduce the Company's future financial expenses and reduce its level of financial assets and liabilities and is therefore in the overall interest of the Company and its shareholders. The Company will continue to monitor the Company's capital structure and market conditions, or may further repurchase its senior notes.
