After experiencing the crisis that Episode 1 "Otter Operation No. 1" could not keep up with the progress of the broadcast, there was no longer a big difference between the production shun and the screening shun from the 10th episode onwards. After that, until the end of the 39 episodes of the third quarter, there will be a difference between the production and the screening, at best, just like the 10th and 11th episodes are exactly reversed, and the same degree of supervision of the crew in the same block.
The first is the 2 books that Manda is supervising, "Bear Child from the Universe" and "Enigma Dinosaur Base". 2 Plots are the story of crazy people who trigger monsters, "Bear Child from the Universe" is a human brainwave delusion to turn the stones of the universe into monsters, and "Enigma Dinosaur Base" is a mad scientist raising monsters. In addition, since "Otter Q" to the first half of "Ultraman", Suzuki Shunji, who has been serving as the assistant supervisor of the special technical class, has moved to this class to serve as the assistant supervisor.
Manda was a first-time debut in 1966 after his official debut as a regular supervisor in "Ultra Q", but only played twice in "Ultraman", and this time it was once in the final set at the end of the game. Because he is busy with the production of "Fast Beast Buska" in the same period, the superintendent of this part of Ultraman also served as "Fast Beast Buska" during the production, and Manda is the only one. "Ultraman" has a performer sent by TBS as a supervisor, and a Toho supervisor who has continued since "Otter Q", and "Fast Beast Buska" has no TV station people. Therefore, Manda is mainly based on "Fast Beast Buska", and as for showing his skills in the Otter series, he has to wait until "OtterSevern" to occupy the main lineup.
The script for Bear Child from the Universe is Named Tatsuo Miyata, and is his only book in the entire Ott series, and the first draft of this book is titled "The Evil Actor from the Universe". Another copy of "Enigma Dinosaur Base" was written by Tetsuo Kaneshiro himself, which is also Kaneshiro's first script in "Ultraman", because the various copywriters who are the director of the literary and art planning office of the Round Valley Stunt Studio are too busy. The 3 books I have written before, "Balaji's Bluestone", "Monster Wanton Zone", and "Otter Operation No. 1", are all helping others to revise the draft.
Previously said that the full name of the Science Special Search Team is "Science Special Mobile Search Team", the prototype is taken from the longevity popular TV drama "Special Mobile Search Team" that has broadcast more than 800 words since 1961, and Miyata Tatsuo is the guiding script of this TV series. At TBS, there is also a TV series "Seven-Man Criminal Police" with the same criminal drama theme, so this time "Ultraman" simply commissioned him to write a single script. However, miyata's level of people of course also means that they are very busy, so busy that after writing the first draft, only Tetsuo Kaneshiro and Shozo Uehara of the planning office helped to revise the draft, and Miyata himself did not have time to meet with The Manda Supervisor to discuss it.
The monsters that appear in the 2 books are also transformed into money-saving transformations, Bermura transforms into the brainwave monster Yang Ge in "The Bear Child from the Universe", and Godzilla wears a scarf to become the Gilas of "Enigma Dinosaur Base". However, there is a difference, at first glance you may not be able to see that the brainwave monster Yang Ge is transformed from Bermula, in addition to adding mechanical tentacles, it is also colorful. The reason is still an old saying, in order to reflect and emphasize that "Ultraman" is a "color TV drama", a pioneering existence in all of Japan at that time. And Gilas, it was obvious, that the difference from Godzilla was almost an extra scarf. Objectively, at that time, it also made big news in terms of marketing and media, because this was the dream showdown between Ultraman vs. Godzilla.
The reason for the small changes is that Godjira is the monster of the parent company Toho, and Bermura is originally the monster of Round Valley Stunt Studios itself, so it is more bold to change it boldly. Although The father borrowed the child's things, although Toho did not want to rent, but at that time, there was a condition for borrowing Godjira, that is, you had to return it as it was. So only a scarf was added, and then the scarf was originally to be withdrawn and returned to Toho, so it was simply handled on the show, and Ultraman and Gilas ripped off the scarf in the fight. In addition, because Godzilla's puppet costume was originally based on the body of Gojira's royal actor Haruo Nakajima, of course, Gilas's actor is still Haruo Nakajima, and he has played a monster in "Ultraman" 3 times in one breath.
"Bear Child from the Universe" has a segment made into a comedy, and the picture is not cut (in fact, the whole episode is a comedy). It is the cosmic stone that can capture brain waves and visualize the imagination, and when it is 9 minutes, a reporter comes to experiment and then imagines a bride. The cameo actor is Yukio Aoshima, who starred in the 1964 TBS TV series "Let's Look At the Present", which is the TV series that Kushii is a producer, Ichi Marutani supervises, Akasa Manda supervises, and Tetsuo Kaneshiro scripts.
At that time, he was a big red, and in 1966, Qingdao also engaged in a big project, the movie "Zhong" was also produced, supervised, scripted, and starred by himself, and was selected for the International Film Critics Week at the Cannes Film Festival. The biggest difficulty in photography is in the special technical class, because Ultraman has a water battle with monsters. "Enigma Dinosaur Base" is a bit more cheerful, this class has to go out to shoot scenes by the lake, and Manda supervisor calls Takano Supervisor and Furutani, who are special technical classes, to go for a ride. Yasuhiko Saijo, the co-star who played Ichihei in "Otter Q", lived in a nearby apartment at the time and was called by Manda to play a cameo as an angler. After all, Furuya was a descendant of Saijo in Toho, and he also came to say hello to him. However, Gu Gu can not be regarded as a cameo, pure dragon set of extras, playing a hotel waiter, the official release of the version of the camera has been cut.

So that night they really watched "Otter Operation No. 1" in the hotel where they lived, an era when color televisions were still far from popular, and the hotel only had a color TV in the lobby. Episode 12 "The Cry of the Dead Corpse" is the second script written by scripter Keisuke Fujikawa, introduced by Toshihiro Iijima, and the first time to cooperate with supervisors outside Iijima, the original manuscript was titled "7000 Years of Sleep". Episode 13 "Oil SOS" was written by Tetsuo Kaneshiro himself, premised on the momentum of the finale of the first quarter, with large-scale close-up scenes of explosions and fires in the ocean and oil tanker and oil industry areas, and the title of "Oil SOS", which was previously scrapped by Shozo Uehara at the time of "Otter Q", was borrowed directly.
These two Round Valley works at the same time as the supervision of this article and the stunt supervision, setting a precedent for the works of the Round Valley Studios, at least for two reasons. The first one is because of the old topic, buying time, Takano Hiroichi stunt supervision is also too busy. The original main stunt supervisor was the field, to bear the special technology of "Fast Beast Buska" alone, and then the special technology of "Ultraman" became Takano alone. Kiyoshi Suzuki, a photography assistant in the special technical class at the time, testified that Eiji's father had a decisive trust in Takano, but people still have physical limits.

Obviously, he worked in the special technical class of "Godzilla" and "Godzilla's Counterattack", and went to TBS to take up a job and enter the video work line, which is also the result of Daddy Amway, but he has worked hard in the company to become a literary and artistic performer, and has won a national award to become a signature performer of TBS.
Originally, I did not intend to participate in "Otter Q" in person, but when this film was called "Imbalance" before the name was changed, I became interested in one of the science fiction routes and fell into this pit. Now that it comes to "Ultraman", TBS requires the complete implementation of simple and direct monster films to attract children, and if the brother wants to take some road that is not illuminated by the aura of the father, then there is a possible option to double the supervision of this article and the special effects supervision. In addition, of course, there is also an emphasis, and the set installation of the miniature model is also extremely grand, and this sentence ends with a large-scale close-up scene in the mountain factory. If it is the Toho Anvil Photography Studio, which is usually used to make blockbuster movies, it would be fine, but because the Otter series uses Toho's second-tier photography studio, the Tokyo Art Center, there is not enough space and height to set up the set installation for this demand. Technically, even if there is a curtain wall to disguise it as the background of the distant blue sky and white clouds, the ceiling is so high, the edge of the curtain wall is leaked at a slight distance, and the huge sense of monsters and Ultraman is gone. So I had to dig three feet into the ground, three feet in the literal sense, at the cost of damaging the hardware of the photography institute itself, to make up for the lack of height of the site, to be precise, I actually dug down more than one meter to about one meter and five meters.
One of the two people who co-played the monster is Yukihiro Kiyono, who played the popular monster Peggira who appeared twice in "Otter Q", and the other is Keiio Aragaki, who played Bermula before, and it is both of them in episodes 12 and 13. 2 people wear the same monster doll costume at the same time, and it is not long before the acting skills of the action are fierce and prone to lack of oxygen. Episode 13 "Oil SOS" focuses on close-up scenes where the oil-eating monster Besta lands from the sea and attacks the oil industry area, there is a series of explosions and pillars of fire and then form a fire, and the actual photography also requires a lot of gunpowder and gasoline. Once there was a real fire in the studio, it was discussed where to run, and on this day Koichi Takano also came to help, taking care of the dangerous goods. After the photography was completed, he took off the monster's puppet suit, and the 2 people inside were all pale and obviously hypoxic.
Special photography technician Kazuo Sagawa and his photography assistant Kiyoshi Suzuki overlook the explosion of the photographic oil tank from a high place, and the hot wind of the explosion blows in, and the hair and eyebrows are also burned out of Mars. As for Ultraman, there is a scene of running and jumping inside the fire field, and finally the monster Besta spits fire and hits Ultraman's shoulder back. Although it was a professional manipulator, Sadashi Numaza, and a special effects technician, a pan skill, a precision calculation and several tests, the burning and frying of course still had to be true. Several pillars of fire in front of him were as high as Gu Gumin, and the heat wave poured in through the gap in the mask from the surrounding area, and then the back of his shoulder had to be mentally prepared to hurt.
