One day, Ye Tianshi was giving the patient a pulse in the pharmacy when he suddenly saw a man in tattered clothes coming in. The man said, "People don't cheat on the sick, it's hard to deceive people, in fact, I have no internal troubles, no external injuries, but I'm too poor, can you cure poverty?"
Ye Tianshi hadn't answered yet, but the people who came to see the patient were furious: "I see that you are an unreasonable person!" Who can cure poverty all over the world?" Unexpectedly, Ye Tianshi smiled with a long beard; "Poverty is also a kind of disease, there is no good to see the nourishment, but also frequently add sorrow and hurt the body, which can be described as detrimental to vitality." But it's not too hard to cure. I look at it like this, I will give you an olive, only you are allowed to eat meat, leave the core, and plant it again, and then next year it will naturally not be poor. The person who saw the doctor listened to these words like he could not touch the real mountains and waters in the fog of the five miles. People who came also felt that planting olive cores and curing poverty were incompatible with the wind and horses, and they should not believe it, but when they saw ye Tianshi speaking sincerely, they took an olive and went back with suspicion.
The man had the idea of trying it out and did as Ye Tianshi had said. The following year, the olive tree grows taller. The upturned trees are full of green leaves, but they do not flower and bear fruit. The man thought: What is the use of fruitless trees? Just ask Ye Tianshi. Ye Tianshi smiled and said, "When the time comes, someone will send money in a few days." The man still did not believe it and went home mournfully. Within three days, something strange happened, and the person who bought the olive leaf came like a meeting, followed by the front foot. Although each person only bought a few pieces, the price was cheap, but there were thousands of thick leaves in a tree, so the man made a small fortune for it. Then use this money to make a small deal, and soon it became a well-off family. He was very grateful to Ye Tianshi and took the time to bring a generous gift to thank the divine doctor and inquire about the mystery. Ye Tiantu politely refused the other party's gift and told him the secret of buying olive leaves. Originally, Ye Tianshi had expected that there was some kind of infection epidemic in this season, and the drugs used to treat this disease were indispensable to olive leaves, so when prescribing medicines, several tablets must be added to each side. As the saying goes: "Medicine does not distinguish between noble and lowly, it can be cured is a good medicine." But the medicine shops in the city did not have this thing, and the sick family had to go to the man's residence to buy olive leaves under the guidance of Ye Tianshi.

After Ye Tianshi's death, his protégés took his prescription medicines and collected them into a book, named "Clinical Evidence Guide to Medical Cases". Published in 1766, this book includes internal medicine and miscellaneous diseases, gynecology and pediatrics, reflecting Ye Tianshi's meticulous diagnosis of diseases, good at grasping the main evidence, and prescribing the right medicine. Among them, there are many cases of wen disease treatment.
