CNN reported on August 23 that Igor Wolfkovinsky, the highest living record holder in the United States, died last Friday (20th) at the age of 38.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Igor Wolfkovens was named the tallest living man in the United States in 2010 at the age of 27, and he is 7 feet 8.33 inches tall, or about 2.345182 meters.

According to his mother's post on social media Facebook on the 21st, he died of a heart attack.

It is understood that Igor Wolfkowynski suffered from pituitary gigantism at birth, which is a disease caused by excessive secretion of growth hormone (GH) by the pituitary gland. Adolescents develop gigantism due to epiphyseal failure; after puberty, the epiphyseal fused to form acromegaly; a small number of adolescent onset to adulthood continue to develop gigantism.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the tallest living person in the world is Sultan Kerson of Turkey, who is 8 feet 2.8 inches tall, or about 2.51 meters.
