The Great Sea Road originated in the Western Han Dynasty and died out in the Northern Song Dynasty. Traveling carries water and grain, tramples sand and gravel, and travels to and from hardships. ”
The ancient Silk Road is the abbreviation of the trade route connecting East Asia and Central Asia and West Asia, which is roughly east-west, but out of the Hexi Corridor to the western region, not only through Turpan, for example, there is also a road through Ruoqiang in the south, when Lop Nur was still watery, there were many oases in the Taklamakan Desert, so the Great Sea Road was only one of the roads leading to the western region. That's the appeal of the Sea Road.
We didn't have the equipment for wild camping and desert and gravel escape, nor did we have spare fuel tanks, so we couldn't walk the whole sea road, we could only walk a short distance. We chose the Hami section of the Haidao Road, starting from Hami, setting up a pier compressor station at the navigation destination, getting off the highway at the exit of the sand dunzi, and driving west along an unnamed road until the pier compressor station. There are 20 kilometers from the pier compressor station to the gate of hami Sea Road scenic spot, sand road, the roadbed is flat, and there are milestones next to the road. At present, the scenic tourist service center is under construction, the gate is open, we drive directly in, the Yadan landform in front of us is shocking, a few kilometers in all directions, all shapes of Yadan stand in front of you, this is how many tens of thousands of years of water, sunshine, wind, cold and hot and cold wash, erosion, stripping, weathering results, many self-driving cars in the Yadan of the Sea Road galloping, we drive along the rut prints to the direction of Hami City, do not dare to go deep into the yadan hinterland alone, worried about tyre, lost, no one to help. Drive about 30-40 kilometers, walk on a newly paved asphalt road, exit from Hami Devil's Town, and return to Hami.
