Near 6 p.m. that afternoon, passenger Chen Ran (pseudonym) boarded a Shun 31 bus at the Houfengbo bus stop, which she would take every day to and from work. In Chen Ran's impression, the condition and safety of this car had been very good, and there was no abnormality that afternoon, but the speed was slower than before.

After three stops, the bus stopped next to the platform of the Highway Bureau station, but the door was not closed after opening, and the car did not leave. "I and the other passengers ran to the cab to take a look and saw that the driver was speechless." Chen Ran and several other passengers immediately dialed the 120 emergency number, and then contacted the driver's convoy through the company phone number on the body. The unconscious driver was carried into the ambulance before everyone left.
"Later, I learned through the media that the driver had died, and I was very sad, there were more than 20 passengers in the car at that time, he saved the lives of a car of us, and I was very grateful to the driver master." Chen Ran said.
This driver is Wang Jian, the driver of Shun 31 Road of Beijing Junma Passenger Transport Company. On the day of the incident, he had a sudden cerebral infarction during operation, and finally died at the age of 42 due to ineffective rescue of brainstem hemorrhage. Even at the last moment of his life, Wang Jian did not forget his duty as a bus driver, he endured physical discomfort, and according to the operating procedures, after completing a series of emergency measures such as deceleration, pulling over, stopping, and pulling the handbrake, he parked the car steadily on the side of the road.

At 18:19, Wang Jian was driving the Shun 31 bus on the Fengbo Bridge, when he had begun to feel unwell, pressing his temples with one hand from time to time, but the other hand was always clutching the steering wheel. At 18:22, Wang Jian drove a bus past the Fengbo Bridge and slowly drove into the platform of the Shunyi Highway Bureau. He then opened the front and rear doors, pulled on the handbrake, waved his hand to signal the passengers to change vehicles, turned on the double flashing light warning, and soon lay on the steering wheel.
"Judging from the video, he (Wang Jian) already felt uncomfortable on the Fengbo Bridge, under the bridge is the Chaobai River, if there is no strong will, failed to drive the car across the bridge, if the vehicle rushes down the bridge, the consequences are unimaginable." Lian Xingye, deputy general manager of Beijing Junma Passenger Transport Company, said that the series of standardized operations made by Wang Jian at the last moment of his life were not unexpected.

Shun 31 Road, with a total length of 49.5 kilometers and 66 stations, is an important transportation line running through the northeast to southwest of Shunyi, and the longest bus line in Shunyi District. At the beginning of July this year, Wang Jian joined the Junma Passenger Transport, and after passing the induction training and internship assessment, he officially took up his post as a driver of Shun 31 Road.
Wang Jian was very strict with himself. During the pre-job training, there was a driving safety assessment, and Wang Jian scored 95 points, which is already a high score among novice bus drivers. However, Wang Jian was not satisfied, and after the results came out, he took the initiative to find the leader in charge to ask for a make-up examination, "The safety assessment must not be full of points, then there is no guarantee for safety." ”
When practicing in the team, the driver must be familiar with the station name and line risk, and Wang Jian only used one day to memorize it. One morning, the teacher with the king ship found him holding a screwdriver to pry the small stones in the texture of the tires one by one. Teacher Fu told him that this does not affect the safety of driving, no pry is fine, But Wang Jian said: "The bus is not good at sound insulation, running with small stones is always 'clicking', affecting the mood of passengers and affecting the life of tires." ”

Every time he leaves the car, Wang Jian always carries several individually packed masks with him. "He (Wang Jian) said that there must be some special situation without wearing a mask, give the passengers one, and our whole car is safe." Wang Yanfei recalled. It had been more than two months since the incident, but whenever he thought about that day, Qin Xiaoyun was still so sad that he couldn't help himself.
