As the translator of the first Chinese full translation of the Communist Manifesto, Chen Wangdao made great contributions to guiding a large number of people with lofty ideals to establish the lofty ideals of communism and devote themselves to the cause of national liberation and rejuvenation. Today, we miss Mr. Chen Wangdao, so we may wish to visit No. 51 Guofu Road in Jiuyuan (located in the ninth dormitory) of Fudan University, where he has worked and lived for more than 20 years.
The detailed construction date of the small building at No. 51 Guofu Road is now unexamined, but this does not prevent it from becoming an old "net red" building on the Fudan campus and even in Shanghai. On the whole, the old house sits north to south, brick-concrete structure, the second to third floors are gradually raised from southwest to northeast in a stepped shape, and the southeast corner is a two-story cylindrical shape, and the top is covered with green cylinder tiles.
