Cyanide detection value exceeded the standard by 47%
Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau completed 606 batches of food safety supervision and sampling tasks of the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration, involving fried food and nut products, grain processed products, cakes, canned food, alcohol, dairy products, biscuits, food additives and beverages. According to the national food safety standard inspection and judgment, of which 592 batches of qualified samples and 14 batches of unqualified samples were sampled and inspected.
Among them, the 6A grade Chinese Dream Collection Liquor sold by Nantong Haimen Wotian Mart Shopping Center and nominally produced by Guohe Liquor Co., Ltd. of Yanghe Town, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, has a specification of 480ml/box, and the cyanide does not meet the national standards for food safety. The detection value of cyanide (in terms of HCN) is 15mg/L, and the national standard has strict limits on cyanide in liquor, requiring no more than 8.0mg/L. It is estimated that the cyanide detection value of the batch of 6A Grade Chinese Dream Classic Wine exceeded the standard by 47%.
It is reported that cyanide is widespread in nature and is present in a considerable number of foods and plants. Cyanide in plants is usually present in the form of cyanogenic glycoside. Such as the common cassava, bitter almonds, flaxseeds, beans, sorghum and other foods have the presence of cyanidine.
According to industry experts, cyanide exceeding the standard is not common in alcohol products. The cyanide in liquor mainly comes from raw materials, such as cassava, wild plants, etc., which are hydrolyzed to produce hydrocyanic acid during the process of making wine. Some low-grade liquor blended does not rule out the possibility of using cassava with excessive cyanide to eat alcohol.
14 batches of food unqualified:
