This year marks the 150th anniversary of the advent of Nanxiang Xiaolong and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Nanxiang Xiaolong Cultural Exhibition. The annual food culture feast, with Xiaolong as the medium, invites guests from all over the world, so that the world can taste "Little Beauty Nanxiang".

Nanxiang Xiaolong's craftsmanship has a history of 150 years since its birth in 1871. On June 8, 2007, the production process of Nanxiang Xiaolong steamed bun was included in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list in Shanghai, and on August 6, 2014, it was selected as the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects of the Ministry of Culture.
The thousand-year-old town and the century-old cage incense have become the striking historical and cultural imprints of Nanxiang. For Nanxiang, Nanxiang's small cage is a fulcrum.
